Dear Friends,

Can anybody tell me the following?

1. does CIC inform about rejection of case thru email?

2. if yes then in how many days we can get rejection email?

3.what if the bank draft is encashed? will they send another bank draft in my name? or if they have not encashed then will they send the same bank draft?

Regards,

Linksalman

Hi!

1. It depends at which stage your application fails. If you fail the completeness check, or there are payment problems, they will mail your entire application back to you. If you pass the completeness check, in which they take the money, and then fail your eligibility review - then they will just notify you of the failure and will initiate a refund which will be a cheque from them. If you fail the eligibility review you will not get your application back.

2. If you fail completeness check, you will not get an email, and it can take up to 3 months to get the application back. If you pass the completeness check but fail the eligibility review, you will get an email saying you failed your review and that a refund is on the way.

3. As I said they will cash the draft as soon as your application passes the completeness check. So if it fails the eligibility review they will make their own cheque/draft out in the principal applicant's name.

But why the negativity? You only just mailed your app why are you thinking about failure so soon? Think positive! :)

Best wishes,
Wayne.

congrats ODIN.......get ready to move...now...........

We are still just waiting for my wife's PCC to arrive (should be today or tomorrow) so hoping to send RPRF, Schedule 1s + PCCs by Special Delivery either tomorrow or Wednesday. Then just need to sit back and wait for PPR! :)
Wayne.

What is Schedule 1's? Were you asked to submit a revised one?

Ours took just over 1 month from RBVO to "In Process", but it's all a bit random at London VO so the only useful timelines are very approximate!

Wayne.

even basing on the old timelines for applications before june 26, 2010, Buffalo has the longest processing times for an application..so sad! :( :( :( :(

Where did you hear that from marfar? Is it an authentic news?

EmmaJ (line 234) has received meds whereas others from London VO still are on RBVO??

Schedule 1 is the background declaration - which you list all your education and employment and addresses etc. CHC London send their medical requests in the form of a checklist, so they can ask for other bits and pieces at the same time.

We were asked for RPRF, medicals, revised Schedule 1 forms for myself and my wife, and updated PCCs for myself and my wife.

I am guessing that asking for updated Schedule 1s is either fairly standard practice at London, or it's because I notified them very case-specific query of a change in my company name so they probably want to get that in writing from us, hence maybe why they are asking for updated Schedule 1s.

To be honest, the updated Schedule 1s were only a matter of a small amendment on mine and then re-print, so about 5 minutes work.

What was more annoying was having to get updated PCCs, and ACPO are being quite slow over this period of public holidays. Still waiting for my wife's PCC and we sent the requests over 3 weeks ago. Hoping it arrives today or tomorrow.

Wayne.

Hello everyone

Today i completed my MR. DMP will send them to London tomorrow by courier.

Question: for how long have you been waiting after medicals till status change in e-cas?
