your visa office is Damascus, isn't it? so why Paris?

Congratulations!
Did you receive any other sign from your file being in Paris before or it is the first time?
It might mean files are being transferred to Paris due to irregularities in Damascus.
I appreciate if you could provide us more information about you file being transferred to Paris.

It's not that my file has been transferred to Paris or anything, it's just that Damascus applicant's medical results are transferred to Paris by the designated Dr.

Probably First Change of Ecase status by London Visa Office for applicants who applied from outside U.K.
After wait of so much long time today I found my Ecase status Changed from RBVO(Recieved By Visa Office) to Inprocess.
With addidtion of following line,
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May , 2011.

I pray and hope status of others will also change.

Please update my Ecase status from RBVO(Recieved By Visa Office) to Inprocess on tracker.
What will be the next step, will any one will like to tell me.

I have a feeling that they've just piled the applications as they receive them and then started from the top (last In First Out LIFO!). So, your status change is a good news for me. I just have to wait for Bman and Linkrink to have their status changed before I get mine changed as well!

Whereas I of course do not know exactly how they are deciding which order to process the applications, my current theory is that each visa officer is assigned a bundle of applications.

The early birds to get "In Process" and get med requests were probably assigned to visa officers with a small workload on their desk. The ones who are waiting an abnormal length of time were probably assigned to a visa officer who had a lot of other applications to go through first.

I am pretty sure country of origin/residence has nothing to do with when your file goes "In Process", although your country of residence compared to the visa office and also the number of countries you have lived in, will have a baring on how long it spends "In Process" because of increased length of time for security checks - and document background checks to another country etc.

I am certainly hoping they haven't just dropped a pile of applications and picked them back up again in a random order!

2. if yes then in how many days we can get rejection email?

3.what if the bank draft is encashed? will they send another bank draft in my name? or if they have not encashed then will they send the same bank draft?
