Today my agent sent me my scanned copy of 2nd AOR dated 19th April 11. So please seniors update me in spreadsheet. In the letter its mentioning that processing takes 6-12 months from the date of AOR...My file number is same as first AOR....(PER)....

2nd AOR and address reappeared today on E-cas , status still "Received by VO "

Today I received a snail mail from Cairo VO with new File no starting B05 it was dated 18 April 2011
The nos UCI and E00 still there in addition to bar codes
A matrix of 9 nos sticker with that B05 no and Bar code, one is already pasted on the letter

this refers to you r application ......received on 30/11/2010
we Created a file with the file no above .........
Processing time average 6 to 12 months
Be advised that your file is processing normally and in queue for assessment, If required we will contact you regarding any additional requirements related to your application

Then a paragraph on Douments and sending translation with them, recommending EMS, registered mail or courier as " our office is unable to provide confirmation for each document we receive
another paragraph " let us know" of any change in your application
Paragraph on Prepare your self for immigration to Canada as some months will probably pass befor you will know the final decision on your application
this is the 2nd AOR , i had some changes in my application, i sent specific case inquiry at Cairo Vo webpage but no even aytomatic reply or notice of receit, the letter is containing a fax no, Do i need to send the same update by fax or the specific inquiry is enough???
I moved to a new employer, and if background check will call the previous one, in case that the specific case inquiry is not received, then >!

I am so glad that you had your second AOR in your way for medicals isA very soon
I am not too sure about the case specific enquiry as well. I have sent them one a while back ( more than a month ) to ask about some stuff with no answer till this date. I would recommend that you send the same update using general email quoting your new file number and using urgent update to my application for immigration as a subject heading. I will not mind to send them a fax as well to confirm. Though they asked not to send the same letter repeated but there is no clue if they are getting to it or no. So better to confirm rather than to miss

I can only imagine that someone at CIC spends their entire career adding and removing addresses for a living...

My deepest congratulations for ur second AOR ISA medicals will be sent the next week

As for the specific case inquiry same as you said i sent one from 20 days to change my mailing address, i received no confirmation and my address is not updated ???

plz let me know what u will do about the inquiry

Yep, our address has reappeared as well, nothing else changed though. Our medical results reached CHC London today but I imagine it will take a week or two for that to reflect on ECAS.
Just waiting for these damn PCCs to come back which seem to be taking ages this time (although have a double weekend of bank holidays hasn't helped!).

Our medicals should have reached there a couple of weeks back, but i expect no change in ECAS .

We are waiting for that damn PCC for Prab to complete our final step!

My address is re-appear in my e-cas status, before that it was appear on 15/04/2011 (only one day) and i got my 2 AOR with the dated 14/02/2011. so hopes this time also my prediction will going to wright for me a. i hope, i will definitely getting some news in coming days.

to all my dear forum mates i have a question regarding proof of funds as in my application we are 3 members so the funds had to 17011 cad dollar now i hv shown all these funds in my bank account as of now the funds are about 15000 dollar so what is ur opinion will it affect my application or should i stack the same amount again in the bank please revert yours PHARMACY1

Well, long weekend for CIC and VO folks have started again and so is the long waiting hours for everyone of us Apart from the two long weekends for CIC we also had THREE National holidays in India so technically this month of April is like a festive month of December for them. This has been the reason behind the slow progress lately especially for the NDVO applicants.
