Hi,
I take it you've lived in Nigeria before or you are a Nigerian with residency status in Egypt?
You would have to physically visit the Nigerian Police Force Headquaters in Lagos for the PCC I believe (Haven't done mine yet).
I am sorry I have no example of anybody who tried getting the Nigerian PCC from abroad :(. But there are some Nigerians on this thread who live abroad and may provide you with details!
Can you google the Nigerian Police headquaters to see what it says? Also, pose your inquires on the Nigerian thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/nigeria-applicant-please-let-us-network-t30420.3210.html
You don't have to go to Nigeria to process it. You will need to police in your country of residence to take your fingerprints which you will send to Nigeria for processing. You will also need someone to physically take the fingerprints to the central police department for processing. There you will have to pay the Nigerian way to get it processed. From England, it takes about 2 months.

We received your application for permanent residence on XXXXXXXXXXX.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on XXXXXXXXX. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

congrats ..happy for you :)
did you receive a second aor or not?
and when did you receive it because i am cairo app too
thanks

Hi Om Saif.

I did not receive a 2nd AOR. It was the request for medicals straight away. I believe that post 26/6 applications treated with priority than older applications.

From the spreadsheet, I find that all times do tie in with my times to reach the medicals. Base your time calculations on mine and other Cairo applicants to get an estimate.

As for the eCas. The status has been the same and never changed. Guess they don't use it.

I will go for medicals on Saturday 2nd March. Results are expected to take from 4-6 weeks, after which they request your passport to stamp the PR on.

Wish you all the best.

@ Cappuccino or anyone

Congrats Cairo :)

I have recieved mine on the 8th of march and had my medicals done a week ago. Can you post the letter sent to you and I am just wondering if they aksed you for the application IMM8 to submit ??

Hi Moori. Congratulations on medicals.

No I did not receive an IMM8 application. Actually, the whole file is being handled by an immigration consultant. I am not quite aware of the documentation. Apologies.

When they start processing it. I got my PER 15th December (2 months before you) with RBVO in mid February, and my app only went into process on 15th March.

So you might expect it to go "In Process" within about a month of being received. If you got RBVO 12th March then you might get "In Process" by mid April?

Wayne.

Thank you Cappuccino
