Hi - nice to see another London applicant In Process. I have updated the spreadsheet accordingly! :)

Wayne.

Dear Indira/Anil/Wayne,

I am giving you a proposal: Can you please add another TAB/page in the spreadsheet (dedicated for tracking) for ‘elaboration of abbreviations’ for new comer!

Example:
TAB Abbreviation:

* CIO = Centralized Intake Office in Sydney Nova scotia - where you sent your application. Sometimes it is mentioned as CIU (Centralized Intake Unit).
* CHC = Canadian High Commission - refers to the Canadian embassies, Visa offices, and Consulates.
* AOR = Acknowledgement of receipt letter.
* RPRF = Right of Permanent
* FILE BF'D TO: File forward to
* SEC CRIM : Security criminal
* SELDEC: Selection Decision
* PSDEC: Paper Selection Decision
* BDEC: Background Decision
* OREQ: Other Requirement
* MEDDEC: Medical Decision
* FINDEC: Finantial Decision
* IMMCAT: Immigration Catergory
* SW1: Skill Worker 1
* NCR: No Criminal Record
* M01-MO7 : level of Medical assessment. M01 means perfect
* PS: Prescreen (another explain is Paper selection)
* PA: Storage area of your file
* AUTHORITY: ARW, LM seems to be officer's name
* PPS: point at paper screening stage
* PI: Principle immigrant
* XREF: cross referenced applicant
* FOSS: is a central database of applications
* NOC: National Occupation Classification

Wayne.

Now i am lagging behind everyone. My CIO received date is 20th August, and PER 10th December, and my status still shows "received by Visa Office". Hopefully that changes soon, but one thing is for sure they are not doing it on First Come First Serve !!

Hey guys...
check this out ...this guy named Ajay from ND VO received his visa in exact one month time after sending his medicals and passports ...he is a 2009 applicant but sent his meds and passports in jan 2011 and got his visa in feb 2011....goes to show how fast ND VO is working ...hope we get our visas in a months time too. :) :) :) :)

If it's of any relevance, we also sent further proof of funds at the end of last week. With our original application we sent 3 estate agent estimates and 1 mortgage letter proving how much equity we had in our house, as proof of funds - since CHC London accepts property as proof of funds at the application stage.
However, we have also been saving like crazy in a savings account so that we now have enough bank funds to meet (and in fact exceed) the minimum without selling the house first. We mainly did this so we could complete our recording of landing as soon as possible after the visa is issued. But since they have sometimes asked London applicants who provided property to show extra funds for how they will pay for the rest of the process, we figured it wouldn't hurt to be ahead of the game and sent all the bank statements to CHC London - so we sent them recorded delivery on Friday.
This means we've now show proof of over 3 times the minimum funding which we're hoping will suffice! ;)

Wayne.

Hi Wayne

Just out of curiosity – do you have to send another POF to London CHC or it's optional.
Say if we've already sent all original docs required by LVO initially, I presume until they ask for any additional info you don't have to send anything else. I am correct?
Thank you

Why does this guy "Nectar" run down people who have genuine questions ... JERK

Necter is aware that he is now caught out. His october prediction has 8 months short fall. He is an attention seeker - "this is the right time to leave ....." and people began to beg and hailing him. I must say that it is surprising to see how he easily made some people obedient servants to his antics and lies.

Its of no much use when one is laying claim to a piece of information and same time delibrately ignoring questions about the source of his information. I can imagine his feelings now - SHAMEFUL

Hi...Good day to everyone...kindly update my status, E-cas shows : In Process
We received your application for permanent residence on October 1, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 2, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 18, 2011.
Thank you....God bless us all...

Thank you Bloodymary. Its very encouraging that London VO is fully awake now.
Congrats and best wishes.

Shalom

Its very surpring to me that London VO is dealing with october applicants before earlier applications. Whats happening to July, August and Sept applicants. Is this a new pattern or depending on the efficiency of the officer handling each case?

Shalom

Hi guys got our Medical, PCC, and RPRF requests today.. dated March 10,2011 ... :) :) :) :)

Hi. Yes it's completely optional, unless they ask for further proof you do not have to send anything after the initial application.

But since we had saved the extra money anyway we figured it was worth paying £1.15 for the recorded delivery letter to include the statements. Worst case scenario is it won't make any difference - but it could speed things up a bit if they decided they wanted to see some monetary funds in addition to our house equity.

Also if you follow the operations manual to the letter, then they will only ask for additional proof of funding for pre-June-26 applicants, so they *could* technically just fail your case straight away if they are unsatisfied with proof of funding for post-June-26. For the sake of £1.15 we thought we wouldn't risk it! :) That's to the letter of the manual, I imagine it depends on the discretion of the immigration officer reviewing the application at the visa office, though.
