Dear Rob

For ND applicants it is mandatory to take the original PP for verification purpose ...... and I assume it will be same with DMPs all over the world ;) .... You are supposed to bring one photocopy also to be attached with the MR.

Cheers, Anil

Thx Anil

Aye, also threads like this are not very encouraging:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/chc-london-from-april-2011-to-october-2011-t66389.60.html

Some guy called Nectar (who doesn't seem to want to tell anyone where he gets his information from) reckons that the priority at CHC London is post-Feb-2008 to June 2010 applications, and that >J26 will be priority in October 2011.

As much as I struggle to believe CIC would allow some people to get their visas in a few months and others in the same process not even looked at until October (somce 10/11 months after PER received), the longer this wait continues the more I will start to believe this Nectar guy! :(

Wayne.

Hi dear Wayne :),
I read the post by Nectar & it hasn't gotten me worried a bit.

He doesn't have anything to support his sayings & when you ask him straightforward he keeps slipping away from giving a direct reply.. he even seems clueless to me.. & moreover, what he says conflicts with the available facts.

I personally expect London VO to surprise us sooner than later :).. I think that we will hear from London this month :D.. & when they do contact us, I bet things are going to work REALLY fast.. because there really can't be that much differences between VOs :)..

Nevermind what people say & lets revise our facts: :)
1. London VO already recieved our applications (because our ecas says received by VO & because our application lots have been already send by CIO to respective VOs as proofed by ND, manilla & other VOs..). I even think that they were 2 lots one till the 4th of October or so (because there was a bunch of 2nd AORs & MD from the above VOs till that date, then a silent period) & a second one later :)

2. Visa Offices cannot have different priorities because they all have to follow the minister's orders.. from what we see from ND VO & Manilla, >26/6 are in priority, they could work concurrently with the <26/6 or with any other pre or post whatever, but still, they are in priority & cannot be left behind, especially that they do need to place it in priority to proof their hard work & the effectiveness of their new system.

Therefore, the delay in London VO is probably due to inner-office organizational circumstances (e.g. they are making background checks & other checks first & aren't willing to inform the applicant of anything yet, installing new systems, requiring more staff.. etc

Since, no matter what the cause of the delay is, it's due to minor factors rather than major ones.. & thus the delay is not supposed to be much longer & when they do work, I believe that they are going to be really fast in their processing.. :)

Rest my case :D

How on this earth you are not a lawyer wow very good explanation and you really make it so so so easy

my 2 cents is keep it like that one day we all will receive it and till that date we just get calm and send our congratulations to our colleagues in the other VOs

Hi,

My guess is we can say Buffalo is *AWAKE* when the status changes to RCVD by VO. So far statistically, from applicants pre-June 26 and even earlier - this has been the slowest. Hopefully, the new computer system they are installing shall make things faster!

All the best,

Thanks :) (blushing)
Now that you put it that way, maybe I'll consider it ;)

i really need your thoughts about my current status..i don't know if i should expect any notice from CIO since they've received my Genereal IELTS results..the others (carl128 and lawrence.roy) have received their PER's after CIO received their IELTS results. In my case however, i've received my PER last Dec. 8, only they retracted it when they said that they placed my files on hold since they want me to send a GEneral IELTS result.

Now i don't know if i should assume my files have been forwarded to the visa office or i should still wait for a notice (perhaps another PER) from CIO.

Has there anybody from Singapore VO , who has got call by phone to background check as vo of ND?
OR, ecas status chnge from RBVO to IN PROCESS?
I Think, ND is the fastest VO, 2nd Manilla .None is as so.

No, There has not been any verification in my case yet.

But one of our form member from ND VO got verification on his home number, his cell phone & also they called his Boss to verify the details.

I guess that is the only case of varification we have come across from ND VO.

- Grasshopper.
your NOC is 1122. are you working in some company or self employed. just asking this because i am surprised about no verification in your case? as per my knowledge every case filed after june 26 has to go through the verification process.

hi Ziaul vi,
If you check on the spreadsheet, you can find that Temasek,2010can,Kevinca,bd1122 got 2nd AOR and their status have been changed to In process.
Mine is RBVO and waiting for my 2nd AOR.
By the way, None reported about verification call yet.

Please update my status on spread sheet to " Received by Visa Office"
It changed to " Received by Visa Office" status on 12 March 2011 from "Eligibility Review Complete"
Is this second AOR ??
