Well I kinda know what you mean about being a British citizen. Our Queen (the Queen of England) is the Canadian Head of State, yet we still have to take an English test and face potentially very long delays in processing! ;)
Ah well, nothing to do but wait it out I guess. But to quote the famous Star Wars line... "I have a bad feeling about this..."
Wayne.
Ah well, the english test is a very fair thing IMO. I am an Indian National and i am stuck with London just because i am currently living in its viscinity (i am not in the UK). I wish i could transfer to my home country office which is currently flying.

Congrats Grasshopper.... :) :) :)

Good luck for Medicals...

Kittu...

It does not make any difference at all if you filed via consultant.

Please PM me your procedure for e-cas check...

Regards,
MAYANK

Thanks for your reply Mayank. I tried to check it today also but in vain. Yes i tried with the File No. (Bxxx), place of birth - India but no use.

It does not identify and also about the processing time as i mentioned earlier. So am confused and worried at the same time. Does it make any difference for i have filed through a consultant?

Thanks

Kittu

I wish my application could transfer to your home country too ;) But if wishes were fishes we'd all be casting our nets in the sea.

I could even handle it if they said outright "London applicants >J26 are going to have to wait another 2/3/4/5/6/12 months" or whatever. It's just the uncertainty which is the crippler!

Wayne.

I checked my eCAS status and it was mentioned "CIO eligibility review completed" and also my intended settling destination is "Toronto,ON" please edit my eCAS status.
Best regards

Congrats Grasshoper :)

I got My PER on Feb 22 2011, I submitted my application on 6 th December, Category AEO , Visa-office New Delhi and . I am currently working in Canada on temporary work permit . I just wonder how the New-Delhi visa office is going to send My second AOR and rest of the document request ? If anybody is applied from Canada and Their Visa office is New Delhi or a Foreign office other than Buffalo please share your Experience on this.

I choose New Delhi visa office because I did my studies and first 6 years of my Job In India. so i thought it will be easy for New Delhi visa office to quickly check my background information.

Thanks

No PER today???

Not yet! :-[ I hope this silence will be broken by some exciting news.

Are you awaiting yours today?

Hey remember when we called up CIC and they said it'd be 33 weeks to an AOR? Perhaps they meant the second AOR.

That puts the date for me as Friday, April 8, 2011. Might be an explanation anyway...
