hello everyone,

apologies for being lost for quite a while, was busy changing job and other minor things.

today I was finally able to log in to check my status, it reads 'received by visa office'. before I could not log in at all.

I wrote an e-mail to the VO notifying of certain changes in my application, hope these are included in my application profile.

I realize I was moved to 'inactive' group, don't know how 'active' I am going to be during induction into my new job, but would not mind switching groups ;D

kind regards to all and best wishes,

Coffee

good day everyone,

may I ask to update my status in the tracker (details above)?

thanks and regards,
Coffee

HI everyone,

Iam not new here i applied on 0311 in last april. But i have one of my friend that send his application on 3131 as a pharmacist last week and it expected to arrive 7/3/2011,he is worried about he might not catch the caps.

so could you tell me how long it take it confirm that he is in the caps or not?
Does the file receiving means that he is accepted or they must reviewed before that and how long they reviwe it?
How long does it take between receiving the file and review it and give it the acceptance?

Phramacists now arw 951 in the cap

Thanks for your prompt respose

The best scenario to guarantee certainty for your friend is to hope that the quota is not filled by the next CIO update. The CIO updates the number of applications received every Tuesdays http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp . So next renewal date is Tuesday 08/03/2011. If your friend has a confirmation that the application was received on the 7th he can check for update the next date. In the event that the quota had been reached by Tuesday, there's nothing your friend can do than to wait for a response from the CIO or send them a case specific inquiry after 6 weeks.

I am sorry to hear that Surfer273 :(

I hope things work out for you. Maybe somebody here can shed more light on your NOC and if you can appeal to the decision. Hang in there buddy.
Hi,
I am under inactive users, app received 28 oct, then NER received 17 Febr.
I visited Toronto and Vancouver for the first time few days ago to get some taste of the place. Kalabaza, I did not expect a NER and it really surprised me. I have been thinking for the last days about my options, now. A lawyer would cost me few hundreds pounds, here in London they value their time. He could appeal in my name and fork out cash for that. I see from the email from Canada that it is a stright refusal and they are not asking to supplement the application with some additional docs. I think the beeing self employed has this disadvantage that I lack a reference letter from the employer.
The other option I can think of is going through Prov Nomination.
Obviousl havung secured PR before going to Canada is much better than having to worry about tthe status after arrival to on temporary visa.

ANyway cheers and good luck to all PER receivers
Pete

Well mate keep us informed of what you decide and what your future plan would be. Hope we all get to Canada soon. :)

Best of luck
Leo

Please update my status to CIO ER Complete.

Not sure why my name was highlighted in red....I posted few comments in the month of Feb.

Congratulations to all who got passport and medical request.

Canada 1

Does NER also come in as email? I haven't received my PER yet so worried about my package being returned.
Experts, seniors please i need some reply so that i would either expect NER or returned application if not late though PERRRRRRRRRRRR.
Waiting really is killing me slowly.... :( :( :(

Hi TAPTATANU

As your file was received at CIO on 10 Feb. 2011. So currently CIO is issuing AOR ( where you will find your file number) on avg. of 100 days. So count 100 days from 10 Feb. to have PER/AOR if application passed through eligibility .

From there i am not sure but application will forward to ND VO within 30-45 days. so 100+45=150 days from 10 Feb. This is my own views.

Your Inbox is full ...please clear it.

Regards,
Mayank

Yes, sataurdays and sundays also do come under 100days but it's your luck u might even get within 84 days as some of the applicant here did get earlier than 100days. Good luck.

I think once first person gets 2nd AOR from Buffalo, London or Damascus it will be pretty quick. But no idea how long it will take for that to happen!
