Hi Everyone,

I hope all of you are having a relaxing Sunday. Today our eCas status changed from "Received at VO" to "In Process".

The detailed status now includes the last line

"We received your application for permanent residence on September 9, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 31, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 3, 2011."

I think once first person gets 2nd AOR from Buffalo, London or Damascus it will be pretty quick. But no idea how long it will take for that to happen!

Hi Wayne,

I'm going to make a prediction here. I'm going to be out of town for the next 3 days and so won't be able to check my mail and the forum everyday. Keeping the 'watched kettle' theory in mind, someone from London should receive some news before the end of the new week. Now to hope that my words come true..... :P :P :P

Other than that, congratulations to all our new PER, MR and PPR winners. All the best for the rest of the process.

Guys....

Today I have received one letter from Singapore VO mentioning request for additional information. They give a separate file number for my case. and the letter has been issued on 24th Feb 2011.

The requested document is: PCC within 60 days from 24th Feb 2011.

Actually I have been in India for more that 6 months. but while submitting the applicaiton package on July 2011, it was not possible to collect that from India as I am doing full time job and its time consuming to obtain that (also the CAP issue was there in my mind at that time). However, in my applicaiton package I mentioned that if required I will provide that in future.

Later on in Auguest I came to know that I can obtain the Police clearence certificate from Indian embassy of my home country. They are providing this facility. So, I applied and got it in august.

Now, as Singapore VO is required the PCC of that country, I have a doubt that whether that letter is ok or I need to obtain it again from Indian embassay as the letter is almost 7 months old.

Please note that I have submited my home country PCC with my applicaiton package and there is no issue with that.

Please suggest me what to do....

Hi waney, Indira, annil and others...Do you have any opinion on my case?

you have no option other than applying for Indian PCC again since according to CIC guideline, PCC should not be issued more than 3 months earlier

Phew .... What a match ....... >:( ....... Thanks to Yousuf, saved our skin.... 8) ??? 8)

I got a NER last Monday (28 Feb).
Supposedly:

"Although you have indicated that you have Arranged Employment, there is insufficient evidence on file indicating that you will be employed permanently upon receiving permanent resident status."

Which is a hoot for anyone familiar with my particular situation. I figure some faceless bureaucrat made a mistake or at least misinterpreted some information.

My representative is on top of the case (it's not a lawyer or consultant and I don't have to pay him) and I also sent an inquiry to CIO myself so I still hope they will review my case but for now... it's definetly a NER. I leave it to the managers to take me off the tracker or leave me on for now.

Best of luck to all others!

Kris

.

Dr. Hasib: Is that a general rule for every VO. I havn't looked at any regulations recently, but If I remeber correctly, before june 26, the first step for any applicant was to start collect documents, and PCC should be attained after the date of receiving the application by CIO, and it is valid for a whole year. what is the current regulations???????
