Hi - I am turned you purple! At least you know that the medical requests are on their way. I would give it until the start of March, then ask visa office if they can resend them or send them via email because of postal problems.

Congrats anyway!

Wayne.

Great! thanks Wayne. much appreciated :)

Yes Wayne I do understand what you r trying to say but as you must be aware that some ND VO applicants who have recd their PER's have already started receiving their 2nd AOR. Now that's the difference between the theory and reality. What worries me the most is that I had recd an erroneous mail from ND giving me 120 days and then they did rectify that error asking me to wait further contact as my file is in transit. Its been 45 days since then and no contact. I only they don't still count my 120 days and on 23rd march tell me my file is closed for lack of documentation.

Another they have yet not updated my new address though they do acknowledge having received the request but they reply address yet to be updated.

Regards

Sorry to hear about your frustrations I hope things resolve themselves for you soon!

I had hoped the "worrying" part of our application would be over when we got our PER, since this was the most likely stage, if any, at which we would be rejected.

But it seems the worrying and frustration has only just begun! ;)

Just wish someone from London would hear SOMETHING, then we can start to get an idea of timescales. But currently the only evidence we have that our file has even reached London is ECAS "Received by Visa Office" and we all know how massively inaccurate and unreliable ECAS can be.

YOU BET, the worrying and frustration has only just begun. Like you even I am a non believer so there are no doors that I can knock :)

Yes, I can truly understand the frustration. The worrying bit is that the order of issuance of PER were quite sequential as per first come first served except for a few individual delays. The issuance 2nd AOR seems to be quite random. The other worrying bit is the difference in the format of the 2nd AOR. It seems to be all different with the Singapore VO saying that they will do the eligibility again.

Guess, we can just wait and wait. I suggest you to keep a look out at your old address too, if possible.

Oh fortunately I am in the same locality and same post office and of course very nice neighbours at my old address but you never know I can still miss out an important post, the most important In fact.

Wonder what happens if VO fails to update my address? Who would be responsible for the goof up

Fingers crossed

Visa office would be responsible, since you have correctly informed them of the change. However, getting them to acknowledge this, let alone do anything about it, is the tricky part!

IMO I would keep bombarding them with case specific queries every few weeks until they fix your address, since it is SUCH an important part of the information they need to keep about you that I feel it is justified to send multiple queries until they get it right.

My 2 cents
Wayne.

I confirm ND VO has stated sending 2nd AOR

  • Average processing time mentioned is 10 months, contact only after 6 months if no response

    No refund in any case

    No priority

    It is normal post

rest is same as others has posted

It also contains the payment receipt
File number remains the same.

Thanks

Can someone update my details?

I sent an email to Manila VO asking if a Medical Request was already sent to my address. This is because our snail mail here is a very old and sick snail.

Well, they replied, and told me they sent the Medical Request as well as the request for Right of Permanent Residence fee last Feb 7, 2011!!!

The sad thing is, I still have not yet received the mail..

Congrats blueray, this is an exciting news!
