Well getting PER means you are over several hurdles, certainly - but getting PER is no guarantee of getting the visa.

After PER - visa office will check the authenticity of all your documentation, possibly run employment verification checks with the employers who provided your references. Also they will run security checks, and there are medicals to do.

Any of the above could be grounds for rejection at visa office - so PER puts you in a strong position but is still not 100% guaranteed until you get PPR! (pretty sure when they request your passports that it is 100% certain you will get visa).

Even then, you have to land within 1 year of your medicals and there can still be problems with PR card photos etc.

Wayne.
You are right ....Immigration isn’t easy ....I am at the beginning ...I should be patience ....I hope you guys who got PER already get good news from ur visa offices sooner ... then waiting will be easier for us at least we will have a guess about how long it will take to get VISA....I am happy I am a member of this forum ...this can make things easier for me

Hi,
This is odd. You mentioned you already sent all of those . Do you have any idea why would they ask you to do it one more time?
This worries me a bit. Even though I work for a world renown company I did not sign a contract. Therefore I do not have one. I only sent letters of reference, like they asked.
If I'm not asking too much, would it be a big trouble for you to do a copy/paste of the email ( leaving out your personal details, of course) and post it here ?

On a different note, E-cas still out in my case.
Thank you.

There's no need for posting e-mail from Vienna VO, because I've said what were they asking for.
In my country you have to sign a contract for each job, so I guess they have every right to ask for it.
Maybe it will be different in your case.

Dear seniors,

Just some thoughts occurred my mind and need your inputs.

1. My ecas status continues to say "In Process", do you think the ND continues to treat me like a pre-june 26th application and i am kept in the waiting. I say this because i had received an erroneous email from ND long time ago regarding 120 days goof up. They did clarify and asked me to ignore the earlier mail sent by them.

2. I had sent an email for change of address and i did receive their reply that they have received my request for the change and that they will update in their system in due course. This was a month ago but ecas continues to show the old address.

Do you guys think i should be contacting the VO again or just let it be.

Awaiting some feedback

Thanks

Regards

Hello always+ve,

Just a small question. Point no. 2 above, states "....ecas continues to show the old address."

Please can you let me know where exactly do you see the address, as i also have the same issue to be resolved.

Your help is much appreciated.

Thank you.

please update my info:
my ecas says:

Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete

Thanks
Mari

Congrats to all who gor their PER!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Unless your application in genuinely "In Process" and they are preparing your medical request as we speak. Then I imagine the situation is somewhat less frustrating ;)

Wayne.

Yea Wayne, I guess that makes sense to me. Thanks buddy!

Congratulations to all those who already got their PER :) , as an October 8 applicant for me waiting everyday for my PER or NER is filled with mix emotions, just checking my e-mail several times a day is a nerve racking routine, any communication from them is a welcome relief even expecting an NER, at least I will know the reason for my rejection and I could still have time to apply again. Well I guess this is life, for me there is lesson learn from this experience as they say patience is a virtue and I really need patience now and a lot more of hope and prayer to get me through!

Again my sincere congrats to all who already got their PERs, 2AORs and MRs, someday I may get mine too ;D

Thanks CAM....finally it came through....
I registered on the same day that I received the General IELTS request....I was able to get into 1 of 2 remaining slots for the weekend.
I must thank all the members on this forum for doing a great job of compiling and updating information. It has really helped! Now we shall have to wait for snail mail to get to VO.

Congratulations to everyone ho has got their PER recently - I have been overburdened with work and haven't been able to see the thread much at all. I am pleased to see that the timescale for PER is going down again, after the long wait that we had.
Does anyone have an answer to this question - I took up a short term contract in October which will last until Easter ( I am not the principal applicant - only spouse). Do you think I will need to inform CIO or London VO of my change in employment? I was a Supply teacher before and will go back to that again, so there really hasn't been that much of a change really but I just wondered.
