Alberta also has certain other advantages. It is a debt-free province, and as a permanent resident you can full NHS and healthcare the moment you land, as opposed to most provinces where you have to wait 3 months before you can access the NHS system there.

We visited Calgary on our last holiday to Canada last year. My only real concern is that it is very dry, we had to use lipbalm and we were only there a couple of days. I guess you get used to it though :)

Wayne.

Thanks for the useful information Wayne! :) To be honest, I hate cold and dry weather, but it's the goal that is moving me ahead!
Have a great time pal!

May I suggest to move the "Intended settling destination" column to the last or to the first so that we can hide it.

Not important info for this stage. We should focus on more important stuff, like Visa Office, NOC, PER date, 2nd AOR date, Current Status, etc.

Just my 2cents.

Thanks

I agree with PNPvsFSW, we should put it in the last row, because it is not very relevant on a daily basis...

Edit: Opps, thanks Indira... You are too fast for me :)

It rains a lot in coastal BC - Several sites along the British Columbia coast receive annual quantities in excess of 100 inches (2,500 mm).

I suggest you to wait until tomorrow, as you just received your PER? They are always late to update the ECAS :P

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

If it's any consolation, the waiting doesn't get any easier after you get your PER! ;)

Hey, guys...

I've just got e-mail from my VO with a request to send employment contracts and proofs of common-law relationship in order to continue processing our application. We have two months to send this.

Hi,
This is odd. You mentioned you already sent all of those . Do you have any idea why would they ask you to do it one more time?
This worries me a bit. Even though I work for a world renown company I did not sign a contract. Therefore I do not have one. I only sent letters of reference, like they asked.
If I'm not asking too much, would it be a big trouble for you to do a copy/paste of the email ( leaving out your personal details, of course) and post it here ?

On a different note, E-cas still out in my case.
Thank you.
