My e-cas says "CIO-Sydney "Eligibility Review Complete"

Hi Wayne,

ecas status change to "RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE"

I thought term 'IN PROCESS" stage was advanced than "RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE", because it comes down in the chronological order in the link:

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_wrkr&lang=en&app=ecas

But guess that is life ;-) Test our patience!

I don't know how one gets positive ratings, but i must complement you 'Wayne' for that particular statement...that let's not disturb VO offices because of our impatience, as every minute lost by them in replying to our queries arising due to impatience is every minute our application may be delayed in processing by them, as they could have possibly used that time for it!

Kudos !!!

Like i said a couple of times earlier as well

Reviewed your application and started processing on 23rd nov 2010

says what???

@Cappucino,

Old issue. E-cas serves all applications pre and post 6/26, right? The E cas process shows a CIO and a VO eligibility review stage. I believe VO eligibility stage refers only to those applications received before 6/26. Our final eligibility review takes place at CIO, they say it's final. It would be a great waste of time to have VO do that again.

Dear seniors,

Just some thoughts occurred my mind and need your inputs.

1. My ecas status continues to say "In Process", do you think the ND continues to treat me like a pre-june 26th application and i am kept in the waiting. I say this because i had received an erroneous email from ND long time ago regarding 120 days goof up. They did clarify and asked me to ignore the earlier mail sent by them.

2. I had sent an email for change of address and i did receive their reply that they have received my request for the change and that they will update in their system in due course. This was a month ago but ecas continues to show the old address.

Do you guys think i should be contacting the VO again or just let it be.

Awaiting some feedback

Thanks

Regards

Freinds,

I had a baby after submiting the application to CIO,
I got PER on 24 Jan 2011,

Now i have collected all the documents required to add my baby in the process, however i have not received 2nd AOR till date, means file has not been transfer to VO.

I am planning to send all the documents to VO within this week, is it a right decision to send it before getting 2nd AOR or should i wait till i get the 2nd AOR?

Also,

There were some minor mistake in the dates of some documents at the time of translation by the translator, can i send the corrected documents with
required justification to VO?

wAITING response

Hello again sgcandle:

If it is no trouble, could you please let us know the numbers for Manila VO?

Thanks,
Cam

Dear friend,
it is not a trouble at all....

Manila has target of 3000 in 2011 for skilled class. Ankara has 285.
In 2010, Manila has 51,135 pending and 3351 visas issued under skilled class.

Ankara has 429 files and 321 processed in 2010.
(somebody asked about ankara also)

Dear Indira / Anil /Wayne,

I want to know that after completeness check CIO encash BD/CC. Then they go to eligibility phase ( at CIO level) where they calculate points (67). Here i want know how CIO confirm/verify about university authorization at different country ? Lets say XYZ..University in India is recognized under law / university Grant Commission or not ? If i am not wrong then it must be done at VO level ?
Please put your input on it .
Regards,
Mayank

CIO has ways of doing it. I guess they already have a list of recognized colleges and universities. I'm sure they do a bit of background checks @ the CIO, at least on the education part as it's very easy to find out if a university or college is recognized or not. This info is very much required to award points for the education.

At the VO level, they still do all the background checks, including the education, employment etc.,

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

I totally agree with indira. Remember, one member of this forum got refused(NER) due to insufficent points? He had Masters degree but CIC refused to give him points for that; So definitely CIC check whether university degree is authorized or not.
