Updated.

Wayne.

hi Wayne and others,

Could you pls tell me once my ecase status changes to 'app received by VO' - will they notify me immediately of the PCCs that I need to send them or should I instigate something from my end? I have been lil baffled bout this PCC thing and the timeline around this.

Many thanks in anticipation,
Rohan :)

Both pre & post 26/6 applicants who are with the Bucharest & Moscow VOs are not identified by the eCAS.
Now isn't that an interesting fact?

PS: my first 3 digits are B05.

my ecas still shows in process... no changes till now :(

mine also the same no change received by VO

My apologies the username was misspelt on the spreadsheet, hence I looked at an incorrect user whilst checking the last post date. Seems it has been amended now.

Wayne.

Thanks bro! you are doing a great job :)

Hey Everyone,

I guess its encouraging news for us immigrants :)

Canadian jobs soar above expectations

Economists had predicted that 15,000 people would join the Canadian workforce in January 2011. According to a recent announced by Statistics Canada, almost 70,000 people were added to the workforce in Canada last month, almost 5 times the amount originally predicted.
Most of the new jobs added were in public administration, agriculture, and specialized-service occupations. Health care and social assistance sectors experienced an increase of 15,200 new jobs. There was also an increase of 55,000 females, ages 25 to 54 added to the workforce. Average hourly wages also increased by nearly 3% in January compared to last year.

The provinces of Alberta and Ontario experienced the highest job growth rates, with Alberta adding 22,000 jobs last month. According to the report, Canada has regained all of its jobs lost from the recession.

Despite the encouraging reports, Statistics Canada also found that the unemployment rate rose to 7.8% from 7.6%. Although more jobs are being added, even more people are returning to the workforce and competing for jobs. Economists are optimistic that the strengthening Canadian dollar and the expected jobs to be added this year will result in a decrease in the unemployment rate for 2011.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi

While submitting application to CIO how old should be the bank statement? Can we send a two weeks old statement?

Mine was only 3 weeks old & I -thank god- already got my AOR. So I guess it's accepted.
Still, though, I sent a property deed as well ( because I was worried about the short period of time.

In their manual, no time limit is mentioned, it stated: " current account"
So, I guess that it is fine.

Best regards,
Basmalahh
