I am sorry to dissapoint you but most probably you appliied after cap is reached. Unless you are under FSW2 you should expect your docs to be returned.

I must agree with MSM. Harsha, whose application had been received by CIO on 29th October, had his application returned because the cap limited was filled. He was told it was filled on 28th October. And we have several other members whose application was received on 28th October and did not make it into the cap.

Therefore an application not sent until 1st November regrettably would have no chance to make it within the cap. Unfortunately your application is on its way back to you :(

Do you have experience in any of the other NOC codes? Otherwise you will have to wait until 1st July 2011 unless you can secure a job offer.

One more thing. I have E... number and I never asked CIO about my status before receiving PER.

My theory: Those who requested status info before PER received B... number based on their paper file (as CIO looked at them and have to give some/any number to it).

Those who never asked, received this number only during PER issuing and this number was based on electronic file already. E - means electronic application.

Let's support this theory by examples!!!!
You are not exactly right.
I never ask CIO,NS for my case. But My file start with 'B'. Also from Yesterday, I am able to find application status online.

Very very very strange all this thing with B (paper file) and E (Electronic application).

Moreover, E.. numbers are very few, i mean less than 1000 (only 3 digits at the end). And B.. numbers are almost 1000000. Maybe there were no more numbers for letter B and they started from the new letter?

I have another guess - E files will be forwarded to VO electronically and B files couriered

What do ye think? ::)

On my PER e-mail it states: Application Number : E......XXX and UCI number XXXXXXXX
and they say "..you should quote your UCI number on all other correspondence.."

Dear wayne / anil / cur-rozen ,

I have couple of queries on filling of forms.

(1) Form IMM0008_1e Sehedule 1 Back ground declaration.

Query on Section 10 of form :

what to write in name of institution ? College name or University name or Both ? Can i write short name of University in it e.g. IGNOU for " Indira Gandhi National Open University " ?

AND what to mention in Type of certificate or Diploma field ? What to write for Secondary & Sr. Secondary education ?

Whether only need to write Bachelor or full name of Bachelor degree?

(2) In form Schedule-3

Section-5 Lang. Prof.

Is it ok if i select high in all the field of English ? AND

Section-11 Work Exp. details

Is it necessary to write all the main duties as it is too short to write all details ?

Is it necessary to provide all main duties here ?

(3) As far as what i have understood i think i need to make 2 copies of main forms one for CIO check list & other for

New Delhi visa office check list right ?

Do i need to check Proof of Lang. section in New delhi VO check list ? as it is already given in CIO checklist ?

PCC need to be attached with New Delhi VO checklist ?

(4) Finaly do i need to pack New Delhi VO check list in seperate envelop ? & put that envelop with CIO checklist & documents ?

Or Paper clip CIO checklist & CIO supporting documents AND Paper clip NEW DELHI VO checklist with supporting documents

and Put both in Single envelop for final dispatch ?

(5) What is the best courier service from India to deliver to Canada ? Blue dart or DHL ?

Thanks in advance & need reply as soon as possible .

Regards,
Mayank

I did notice very small number at the end of "E" number , but why would they put electronically say "200" people against "800" thousand paper applications?
they didnt finish letter "B" it continues with new PERs, and some old PER had "E"

Cant think of any posibilities :'( :'( :'(

Well no, you have 5 months before then in which you could secure a job offer, and apply under FSW2. And there is always Provincial Nomination which you can look into you. So it isn't really your only hope.

If you wait until 1st July 2011 there is no guarantee that NOC 1122 will still be on the list.
