hi
kindly tell me how can we check the application status without getting PER my bank draft has been charged but i have not got PER as yet.
looking forward for response
regrds

If your BD is encashed that means your application would be in Process

If you send inquiry to CIC for the application status (after 3 months) then you will get Client ID with that you can check your status at ECAS even if you haven't received PER

Guesswork.... It that possible that file number starts with "B" if one applied himself and with "E" if goes through the immigration agent?

No,

File No.B............. was for Pre 26th June-10 applicants.
File No.E.............. is for Post 26th June-10 applicants.

It doesn't make any difference whether you apply directly or through agent...

Cool

No, we have applied by ourselves and we have E number. In Bucharest VO they mentioned that it is Electronic Application, that is why it is E.

P.S. Strange, I was writing about it here few pages back and got zero replies or quotes. Sometime on our forums messages just seems like ghost.

Congrats to all who received PERs. Forum being kept busy, goodluck to all ;) ;)

That cannot be true because many post-June-26 applicants on this forum have a "B" file no.

Hi.

I am very sorry to hear about your NER.

But if you provided insufficient work experience evidence then I am afraid there is no way of appealling this. The visa-office specific checklists are very clear regarding what needs to be in the reference letters. The CIO operative will be using an operations manual when they do the eligibility review and it will tell him/her that they will need to satisfy themselves that you have performed a substantial amount of the duties on the list, and this needs to be backed up by supporting evidence from your employers.

Your best chance, if the NOC limit is not yet full, is to get sufficient supporting evidence from your employers (or former employers) and then re-apply.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

Hi wayne

As far as I know all the applicants applied the same way, i.e. by printing out the forms, filling them and sending by post to NS. How it can happen that someone has E and someone has B? Or do you think that CIO transfers some files into electronic form and assigns E, and those applications that cannot be transferred into electronic form has B? Does this make sense? Not for me.... :-X :-X :-X

One more thing. I have E... number and I never asked CIO about my status before receiving PER.

My theory: Those who requested status info before PER received B... number based on their paper file (as CIO looked at them and have to give some/any number to it).

Those who never asked, received this number only during PER issuing and this number was based on electronic file already. E - means electronic application.

Let's support this theory by examples!!!!

Doesn't work for me. I never asked for the status and my file starts with B. ???
