what do you see when you click on 'In Process' -does it say medical received for you too? or they just tell you the date your application was received?

No, doesn't work either way --> tried "first name + surname", then "surname + first name".

Dear MSM-2332

Try only with surname / first name....

Cheers, Anil

Regarding my E-cas status - nothing. No info. And it asks for the long number E..., not UCI.

;D ;D ;D no, it seems it is not my day today :P :P :P

Hope you have mentioned the following with your letter

1. First envelop (with all documents) courier details i.e. date of dispatch, docket number etc
2. Your passport number, date of birth etc

Otherwise CIO may not work hard to search your application and match oit with your second courier.

Regards

Dear PUN123
This i have done but I have not got any information about delivery of my first courier yet.
So waiting for that.
My case has become complicated.May be it happens with people like me.Anybody else in this active thread has any such experience then kindly share.I am very tense at this moment.

ALL MY FRIENDS IN BLUE CORNER ......

Please check your eCAS status and let us know if you have got any updates........ I am updating the tracker with " In Process" under the 'Notes / Status' column......

Cheers, Anil

Mine also reads:
We received your application for permanent residence on September 13, 2010. Medical results have been received.

I have received a reply from Bucharest VO. I can read from it that my papers possibly are not in the VO yet or were not dispatched.
And that PCC will be requested together with Meds or something like this.

VO reply:

Dear Madam,

Thank you for your message.

You do not need to submit your police certificate for now. After a preliminary review by our office, you will be sent a list with required document and if the police certificate is missing from your file you will be advised to submit one.
For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer to the applicant's full name, date of birth and file/reference numbers provided by the CIO Sydney.

My Request: My file was received by CIO on September 20, 2010 (according to new post June 26 rules). On January 13, 2011 I have received a positive final determination of eligibility. According to CIO e-mail my file was transferred to Bucharest Visa Office. As according to the new rules Police Certificate should be mailed directly to Visa Office after receiving positive determination of eligibility and be no more than 3 month old. Is it the right time to send it to your office? Have my file number changed since reaching Bucharest Visa Office or should I use the one given by CIO for further correspondence?

OMG OMG.. I just checked my status and its already IN PROCESS.....whooooo!!! :) :D I never thought it would be so fast...I just received my PER on Dec. 29

Oh my, I am so happy..:)

I am 'In Process' of wondering what on earth is going on??!!! If they want to send me a passport request to give the visa directly I will be more than happy to accept ;D. But on a more serious note, could they mean that the VOs have received our applications rather than the medicals? ::)

Anyway, it's great to see the e-CAS work, so I'm happy! :D

Sorry guys, do i need to put UCi number or E.... number as Identification number

And it asks only for surname/family name - do you write just surname?

i am trying to make this thing work for me

Thank you

Cool

Thanks, it doesnt work for me, probably too early, PER was received two days ago
I'll try next week :)

For the "In Process" applicants, I believe that respective VOs now have our files. If we based it on pre June 26, when they have sent the full documents to VO, the "In Process" comes next, then the medicals, then PRPF, then passport request... Six months from now, we'll be receiving our VISA :)
