Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

now this is the wierdEST thing... i just checked my application status on cic site...it says IN PROCESS ..however the mail i recieved from cic on 21st jan says they have not forwarded my application to VO...

Please indicate my status IN PROCESS....

As we have seen from some applicants, maybe you have received the PER but in your SPAM or JUNK folders. Or maybe it hasn't delivered to your mailbox for an email error. It happens.

Try to send an email (as made711 did) to the CIO asking for your status.

I agree. You may have already had your eligibility review complete, but the email could have gone into your spam folder, or the operative may simply have mis-typed your email address into their system.

Please indicate in my status IN PROCESS.... btw, mine indicates that my application was received on Sept 24, 2010.... no "medicals received" indicated.

Option 1. They have sent you your PER long time ago but you missed it in junk mail or they have sent it to the wrong e-mail address
Option 2. They have made the decision long time ago but late with sending your PER
Option 3. The whole information in eCAS is wrong and resulted from technical problem

Any other option?

Your submission is currently under review by our office. You will be contacted in due course.

I think they have my correct email add.... quite happy about it but still in limbo until I get that precious PER... thanks canady and wayne....

Thanks for the help. I havent received any number from the CIO. So i need to wait a little more longer? or would you suggest some alternative step?

Since they have stated our medicals have been received, they have encoded the wrong status for ALL our applications. So I wouldn't rely too much on the ECAS thing, although it is encouraging that we can at least check our details now.

Regarding delayed PERs we have seen some people (made711, queencougar etc) who have had 4 to 6 week delays past the normal predicted time, and still received PER ok - so a delay doesn't necessarily mean any kind of problem.

We believe they have taken on new staff at CIO and if your application lands in front of someone who is less experienced then it may take them longer to arrive at an eligibility decision.

Some time ago there was an information that CIC is adopting a new system (global case maangement system&). So probably they are now making transition from the old to a new system and this could create some chaos that we see now. That was the meaning of the option 3.

I did try, it didn't work with eCAS. I received PER 15 days ago.

Try logging in using both your Given and Family Name. I had to use both names although the field only required the Family Name to view my details. As with the others, mine is also "In Progress" & "Medical Received". Cheers.

what do you see when you click on 'In Process' -does it say medical received for you too? or they just tell you the date your application was received?

Hi Guys,

Like others I'm getting 'In process' for my applicaton @ CIC portal.

Additionally has anybody received PER with any wrong information. Actually my PER has wrong address (looks to be a minor typing error).

Do I have to query CIC by emailing at FSW-Centralized_Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca or wait for the papers to be transferred to ND VO, as the mail specifically asks to contact ND VO for any further communications.

No, doesn't work either way --> tried "first name + surname", then "surname + first name".
