Question to wayne, Indira, amro, anil and others,

Did anyone receive any response from their respective VO?
June applicants should hear somehting since they received PERs long back?

Nope, no good news yet! All we know is the files have left CIO and haven't yet reached the VOs. The VO will possibly send out a notification once they receive the paper files as per their recent communications.

New Week Ahead....hope this week see a lots of PERs.

Though i am expecting a NER as my BD has not beet enchased till date.

i second demotion for this.. my BD too has not yet been encashed as for my understanding.. my bank says that the transaction is still outstanding... does this mean my BD is not yet encashed? what happen to the sept 2010 applicants? I haven't received any feedback from the CIO yet.. hope the bank is not updated... still thinking for positive result..

I was hoping OCT applicants should start hearing from CIO by now. But its snail pace I guess.

With more than a handful number of applicants left out in Sept without a PER , i doubt if the OCT guys will hear anything at all before mid Feb ??? ???. But as we all know CIO always love to give surprises(good 8) and bad :-[)..

You may be right Indira. Probably between 2nd and 3rd week of Feb 2011, the OCT applicants will start hearing something.

Aye There certainly seems to have been a big slow-down on PERs from CIO in the past week or two. But we've also seen quite a few NERs in that time so maybe they are ploughing through some NERs before they re-commence with PERs?

No idea though really.

I need help for documents preparation.

(1) I have work contract in Hindi Language. As i need to send a notarised ( Certified) translation

with a copy of the original . Do i need to send the copy of the Original contract that is in Handi? Also in EG7

guide line they also mentioned affidavit from translator ? Is it necessary to send Affidavit ?

(2) Do I need to attached forms as per New Delhi VO checklist ? or only CIO checklist in which forms needed is enough ?As both forms are same?


(3) Do i need to photocopy all the pages of Passport? as per ND VO Checklist .Do i need to notarised all pages also ?

OH, come on guys!!! The point is - we must think positive! They'll feel our positive energy kicking their bottoms and giving them power to work faster I believe that i'll get my PER/NER NOT LATER than on my birthday 17 FEB

congrats you have renewed the hopes of many. also atleast one PER after so many days. For sure CIO people are not sleeping, thought are very slow or I would say we are very eager & impatient.

1.You need to get a translation in english, the person should not be your relative.
2.The person has to file a affidevit in front of oath comissioner, mentioning that he has translated that and all the contents are correct, standard affidavit langauge
3. Send the notorised copy of Hindi document

The above is also clearly mentioned in the application guide\

Affidavit should be in original.

I am not sure if you have read the forms correctly, download the check list it clearly mentions that you have to send both

all pages of passport required, it should be notorised as you may not like to take a chance here
