You are welcome guys. I really didn't want to be selfish with the news knowing that everyone was wondering what's going on at CIO. (I'm actually female). For everyone waiting, I wish you all the very best and good news this week.
My suggestion to those of you who got NER is to reapply and write an explanation letter for anything that is not too clear.
Also,I have a cousin who applied 3 times on her own without success and on the fourth try she used a lawyer and got through.
Finally we all have spiritual belief systems even though we might differ so we need to tap into them. Take Care all and best wishes.

Are you going to reveal your details so that we can add you to the spreadsheet?

It's the beginning of yet another week. :)

May this week bring loads of good luck and we witness a flood of PERs :)

Time to sleep now.
Good luck to all for next week. :D

Hi Shacon,

I am very sorry to hear this. The wording on the CIC web site is, typically, ambigious and confusing.

It says:

For your application to be eligible for processing, you must:

* include the results of your official language proficiency test, AND
* have a valid offer of arranged employment, OR
* have one year of continuous full-time paid work experience in at least one of the occupations listed here.

Work experience requirements

Your work experience must be:

* for at least one year, continuous, and paid (full-time or the equivalent in part-time), AND
* Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC) list, AND
* within the last 10 years.

Now, the second part must surely refer to FSW1, since FSW2 are not being appraised on having 1 year's work experience. On the http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-employment.asp link it doesn't mentions that the TWP must have had a positive LMO, and miust be HRSDC approved - but it doesn't specifically mention that the TWP must be in a role which is Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B.

I think generally CIC's stance is that they only want immigrants to fill jobs which are Skill Type 0, or Skill Level A or B because they feel they have enough people for the other skill levels, but admittedly they are very unclear about this on their website when it comes to applying under FSW2 with a TWP/LMO.

I am very sorry to hear your application has been rejected. But there may be other ways to emmigrate to Canada. As Queencougar mentions it may be possible to secure a job in out of the qualifying levels and then apply again?

Best of luck,
Wayne.

Its a hard reality to face but this is how we learn. Now its back to the drawing board for me. Thanks again

Many thanks to Wayne and Queencougar.
For your supportive replies ;D
I will gather my full documents again in case i get NER.

you are right Kim the encashment is the first step you may have a PER or NER after that but in our situation when you are waiting for any thing to make you feel peaceful i think knowing you money had been withdraw will be a good sign or at least you know they look at your application and they are ready to process it

i hope everybody a good luck and for us also whatever you are waiting for encashment or for PER or waiting for the response of the VO

Have a wonderful day

Hey guys,
I'm not active in making comments here but this page has been my sanity over the last 4 months. I am a September 7 applicant and I finally received my PER on Friday. I really hope those of you who received a NER will try at least once again before giving up. If Canada is really your dream then dont give up.

Congrats :) :).. At least we know they are not hibernating now..

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
