hello dear all,
i just recieved my per.
but i have following confusion. anybody can guess?
1- name is misspelt how can it be for such imp document.
2- time of posting email is 6-15 pm Indian standard time. then is cio open at this time in ca.
kindly reply.

Hi Vicky1,

Firstly I can't see you details in the spreadsheet, could give us your details so I can add you in?

Time of posting is related to their email server so a strange time doesn't really mean anything :) Indian Standard time is about +5.5 hours on GMT, and Nova Scotia are -4 hours GMT, so therefore I think Indian Standard time 6.15pm would be around 8.45am in Nova Scotia. Guess someone got to work a few mins early or just the time their email server stamped on it.

Regarding the misspelling of the name, this is important to fix however I think CIO wash their hands of things once they send PER, so you will need to contact your visa office - quote your file number and tell them about the spelling.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

Thanks friend lifeisgood!

please make clear your analysis.keep writting.

It looks like now only NEW DELHI VO is giving such a reply taipei and singapore have got their acts right. Whats happening with ND??? can anyone throw some light? Further what is this GCMS/CIC? i sent an email for change of address notification and i got a reply that it has been updated but no mention of these letters GCMS/CIC in the email reply.

So helpless...can't even communicate with any visa office guys...frustrating. How do we make them realise that there is something wrong we are not under 28th Nov 2008 gazette but under 26th June 2010 gazette.

Dear 2010can

After geting replay from vo are you alble to check your status on line or not/?

Thanks

Please Clarify did CIC mention your file number as BXXXXXXXXX (GCMS/CIC) or just that they mentioned BXXXXXXXXX

Hello always+ve,

CIC only mention BXXXXXXXXX
Sing VO mention BXXXXXXXXX (GCMS/CIC)

GCMS is a computerized system for Global Case Managment system used by CIC for immigration system and also for many service by canada govt.

Have your bank told you that it hasn't been cashed? Or are you unable to find out?

If it's the former then it might be worth contacting CIO since not cashing after 6 weeks is unusual. If it's the latter tbh I would wait it out rather than hassling CIO with it.

Wayne.
Hi Wayne.

My bank still says that DD has not been encashed still. So I will contact CIO on 20th jan 2011 (crossing 42nd day=6weeks) by mail through the link in CIC website. Thanks dear...

I think always+ve's circumstances are genuine and he is not just someone trying to unnecessarily pester visa office for an update on his status.

It is visa office who have made the error in assessing his application under the wrong rules (Nov 2008 rules instead of June 2010 rules). If he waits until he is contacted in this instance then it will be a rejection for failing to provide documents within 120 days. Even though this error is clearly the visa office's and not his it could take months and months to get himself placed back into processing if he is not able to clear up this mistake with them before the 120 days expire.

Since contacting them by email/online does not seem to have gotten through to them that they have made a big mistake, I am wondering is it possible to either telephone them or go to the visa office in person to try to sort it out?

Wayne.
I am not doubting the seriousness of his situation.
I am only giving a direct answer to why they seem to be uncooperative. I am not talking about the merits or demerits of the enquiry. If people who don' t have tangible reasons to contact the VO stop doing so, Always+ve and others with serious issues will not have any problem in getting a response from the VO.

Visiting the VO will not help if I go by experience. If you are not invited to a VO, you will not be entertained. Calling them would be the best option for immediate response.

Hi Wayne,

Can u please change my Mode of Payment to CC. and also copy the days elapsed formula in last three rows as well, because it is not calculating automatically, thanks for ur efforts

I can't.

Nope, not even the May/June pre-June-26 applicants can check their status online. Seems CIO have abandoned the system for new applicants since April.

Hi guys. Congratulations for latest PER receivers and good luck to all of us expecting one.

I have a question , I'm confused as I realized people treat "App Filed" section differently. What do you guys understand by app filed? The day you dropped you app in the mailbox or the day CIO gets possession of it?

Hi Guys,

Please remove my name from the tracker.Gotta NER.

Myexpereince was not supported and convincing forthe VO from the offer letter and relieving letter.they wanted to have a reference letter specifying clearly the roles and responsibilities, which I tried to get but no one provided from the company.

Unfortunately,no one fromHR supports in providing roles and responsibilities in here.

Any suggestions from the sucessfulNOC1122 guys?
