Oh Pradeep

It is such a heart breaking news...... Didn't expect this for 1122 applicant ..... All the best for your future endeavors ....Take care man.....

Anil

Hi, I want to be added to the list, my application was received on November 10, 2010, my NOC is 7216, fees were paid by cashier check, visa office Caracas, criminal records and IELTS results were sent with the application

I also have an AEO in process.

Good luck to everybody and God bless you

Thanks

Paddy78,

Well I wrote the roles and responsibilities myself and got it approved from the concerned official and asked the HR guy to complete the formalities of signing, stamping, etc......I pursued it for almost 2 months but it wasn't happening....then I lost my patience and agressively fought and argued with the HR guy and got it done the next day........ Had I been able to get the letter well in time I would have saved 1-2 precious month/s........

If u can approve ur roles/responsibilities (the way u want it) from ur supervisor then HR shudn't have any problem providing that letter.........Hope this helps.......Gud Luck !!!

Paddy, so sorry to her this. Here, we usually write letter by ourselves and only than go and sign it in HR or superior. Ask if this is ok with your employer.

Today, I got the craziest reply ever from London VO. As you may know, I have an old application submitted on Oct 2007, and another one under the new rules submitted on Jul 2010, each having a different file number. The reply was as follows:

Topic: RE: B0<the new file number> - <my name> - Permanent Residence in Canada
From: re-london-im-enquiry @ international . gc . ca

Thank you for your enquiry.

The application was received on <old application date> amd your file number is B0<the old file number>

The letter acknowledging receipt of the application for permanent residence explained that the processing times for the skilled worker category is 42-48 months. Your application is still within our standard processing times.

When an application is ready to be assessed by an immigration officer, we will send a letter or email giving you 90 days to prepare and submit updated documentation in support of the application. Note that it is advisable to start gathering supporting documents before you receive this request to ensure there will be no delays to the submission. We regret that our office is unable to estimate when the letter requesting the updated documents might be sent.

You are not required to advise us of any changes to personal circumstances until this letter has been received, unless it relates to a change in contact details or appointment/cancellation of a paid representative.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post to the applicant to the mailing address on file. It is important therefore that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.

We are unable to provide any further information at this time.

Yours sincerely,

It's crystal clear that they don't know about my new application, which means that the file has not reached them yet. They just entered my name into the computer and generated a standard reply based on my old application number, despite the fact that I mentioned clearly in my email that my application was under the new rules and that I submitted all documents alongside to the CIO. The funny part was that they used two different file numbers in their reply, the old one they got from their data base and the new one I gave them in my enquiry!

As for your NEW number in the Subject Line, don't you think they just hit REPLY and that number remained on the email? The information they had access to was for your OLD file on which they based their reply. It sounds as if your new application has not yet reached the VO. ...my 5 cents (2 cents +HST).

Another day, another no-show for our PER. :'(
Goodnight everyone.
Better luck tomorrow.

Hi, I am new to this site. may i know if there is processing time chart showing member's timeline? If so, where can i find it and add my case to it?

Also the 42-48 month timeline is the very old pre-2008 system! What the hell is going on??? :)

That is a terrible thing to happen ??? I don't know why but when it comes to documentation and stuff, employers hardly seem to co-operate. Especially if you have to deal with an "EX EMPLOYER" >:(

Wishing you all the best for your future endeavours !!

Hey,
Is the "Returned Applictions" tab of Immigration tracker (spreadsheet) being updated on regular basis??

As per the tracker, its been quite a while since someone's application was returned / rejected. If yes, then it is a heartening fact and I wish there are no rejections now and everybody sails through :)
