I agree, it must be very frustrating since CIO now seem to be a bit more sporadic with their PERs. But IMO there is no reason to think anything is necessarily wrong. I think there is a very good chance the remaining Sep 7th applicants will get their PER today.

Wayne.

Can anyone tell me:
1. Till what date application submissions have got the PER as yet?
2. When are the November's applicants expected to receive their PERs?

Please look at the spreadsheet in my signature, which will tell you the answer to 1., and the answer to 2. nobody knows really you will just have to make your own conclusions from the spreadsheet.~

Best wishes,
Wayne.

Thank you

Hamayun,
This thread is of people after June 26th 2010. So it will be difficult to find people who applied before that hanging around here. You will have to try another relevant thread.
Cheers

Dear Wayne,Anil and others

My DD was encashed on 3rd December, 2010. Kindly add this to the spreadsheet.

Many congratulations to the PER receivers,

Hi Experts,

Can some one help me out please ??

I'm planning to start the migration process soon; but i have the following issues:

1. I don't have my birth certificate which is a general probelm among indians; so can I sumit the college tranfer letter instead. will it be accepted by CIO ?
2. I know AOR stands for Acknowledge of Receipt; but what does PER stand for ?
3. If the CIO encashed the money and later returned the application will they refund atleast partially ?
4. To avoid complications can we approach an agent ?

Thanks in advance

Canvid,
I will seriously recomend you to read this thread from the begining. You can skip the few thousand thank you and congrats messages. Most of your questions are answered there.
1) ND VO accepts school leaving cert in lieu of birth cert.
2) PER stands for Positive Eligibility Review.(the aqcronym has been coined here and not an official CIC acronym)
3) CIO will return your money in FULL if your NOC is full, if your application is found to be incomplete or if it fails the eligibility review. If it goes into furthere processing, then there is no refund if it is refused at background check or medical stage.
4) Agent - this is your choice and there is a healthy debate on this in the previous pages with both pros and cons of having an agent and not having one. I will suggest not having one.
Cheers
