Dear All,

Please check your requirement list for your country as it has been changed last week 23-12-2010.
So for As I am from India, No PCC is required for India.
And transcripts are must for points against qualification.

I just went through the requirements for the London VO and it all seems more or less the same to me. I guess there have just been some small changes here and there depending on the VOs.

Hello everyone,

I am new in this forum. These are my application details:
App received 25th Oct and CC charged 1st Nov. NOC: 1122, VO: London

However, I have some concerns and I want you all to help me out.
These are my concerns:
(1). I only sent one month savings account statement with initial application to CIO. That was all I have as at then. That was when I was able to raise the required proof of fund (POF). I now have additional 3 months statement after the application.
(2). I did not send my wife's transcript because it was taking too long to get from the university. The transcript is still not out even now. I only included statement of her degree result. She studied in Nigeria. I also studied in Nigeria but I did my Masters degree in the UK. However, I still scored over 67 points without her degree.
(3) My wife is expecting around june/july 2011. At the moment we are a family of four (Wife, 2 children & myself) Do I need to provide proof of funds for 4 people or to include funds to cover the unborn child? In otherwords, which POF do I need to show - for 4 people or 5 people? Also, will pregnancy delay processing of my application?

Please can somebody help explain how the above factors may impact my application.

Thank you.
Favour

Hi dear,
salam. why you need more holidays in Iran...Nowruz wasn't enough? ;)
best wishes..

Dear EnvioZA,

Of course Nowrooz is great, as for everything, and most importantly the season and the very ver nice spring weather in the best part of Iran. On the other hand it would be great to have one day or two off and celebrate and be happy in the middle of the cold season.

please any member know exactly what day of holidays cio will take for chrismas ? and if they are working monday or no ?

I think they should b back on Wed...Here in Aus mon and tue are public holidays...

Some great new info being posted all around, thanks guys! The IELTS update is certainly a welcome one, it makes simple sense to accept it for a 2 year period since the results are themselves valid for that long.

I bet the applicants next year will have an overall much more streamlined process than us, with the new rules I guess we are the (enterprising?) guinea pigs. ;D

Dear Wendy,

Hi. Just sent you a pm. Pls check your inbox.

Hi there!

If you are quoting toward me,there might have been some mosunderstanding! I was just saying that I wish we had few days off for Christams and that would be very refreshing just in the middle of the cold season ,although our national new year festivities are celebrated in spring time when we have great weather in our country and that makes the new year even more pleasant.

Hello there, the message wasnt for you...

Boxing Day is not a statutory holiday anywhere in Canada except Ontario, so CIO should be back at work tomorrow, Tuesday 28th December.
Watching for our PER - wenstumped and Rina also stand by your beds!!! :D
