Dear good people............ I am just being impatient.............but.............. how long it takes to get 1st AOR from CIO after your Credit Card has been charged? Mine was charged on 9th of September (Application filed 27th August). Its been a while now and no reply yet.

Dear cforcanada.

I do not know the time to receive the AOR in the new process but in the prior process it took between 45 to 90 días after the CIO charge the CC or BD so I think could be faster with this new process.

Hi,
Could anyone tell me is only bank statement letter showing POF for required persons ................... Help plz.............

Dear brill

I am sorry.... quite late for the response.... why don't you put this money into a fixed deposit kind of thing..... and then show as PoF....... Is this money sufficient...or you are showing something else also as part of PoF.

Cheers, Anil

common, canada121 and Capuccino ;D we are not here for ratings, are we? we discuss our issues, help each other and look forward into our future with Canada. ratings do not impact our self esteem, and do not change our personalities. have coffee, gents!

Dear Coffee .... a bit late for the comment..... you are very much correct.....

Only thing that puts me off is -- fate/views of a newbie may change...... like good and experienced members giving useful and genuine solutions/ ideas /suggestions will be taken lightly..... just because some blessed members tried to show off his negative attitude!!! ..... New members will have a bad taste, ....though as you said it won't change our personalities (but may change few people's fate....) I am having good nice filter coffee!!!! Take care

Hi manshriram,

I am also waiting ...........................could you please send me if you have it

Thanks

Dear Bhavik

All the best for your IELTS result......

(1) Sorry to say...but myself and Indira have already clarified you on this matter..... our VO specifically states what all documents can be produced as PoF. (Shares / MF you can't show yaar.....)

(2) In some other post you have asked for the notarization of documents........ you just can't paste a notary stamp and stamp that with a blue rubber seal. .... It is to be NOTARIZED by an advocate (appointed by our Govt especially for this purpose). It is even mentioned in the 'instruction Guide' under ...... Who can certify / notarize the documents and 'How it is to be done'

(3) "..... just photocopy" - NO ....... As per the instructions All the photocopies HAVE to be notarized

(4) As for the List of documents (Simple to remember)-
(i) Send all original documents mentioned in the CIO checklist (except Biodata pages of P/applicant's PP - it has to be photocopy). CIO checklist document # IMM 5612E
(ii) Send all photocopies of the necessary documents mentioned in the VO, New Delhi checklist (except Transcripts - it has to be original in university sealed cover). VO, New Delhi checklist document # IMM 7029E
(iii) 6 photographs each member with the required details

(5) Remember - No PCC now...... later to VO

You have to go through the 'Instruction Guide' and both the checklists carefully.
Still if there is any doubts / clarifications.... Welcome brother!!!

Cheers, Anil

Just to recommend something useful... :D

Since we are sending bulk of documents, it is advisable to make it easy for the evaluator to assess our papers, so we should make our file as what we call in computers, "user friendly". When I submitted my application I have included a cover paper for each group of documents for the visa office requirements, I have printed in large letters in each short bond paper the following:

Identity and civil status Documents (my name and my husband's)

education qualifications (my name and my husband's)

Work Experience (my name only)

passports (my name and my husband's)

proof of english language proficiency (attached in CIO checklist)

settlement funds

business documents (name of business)

photos (my name and my husband's)

police clearance/certificates (this is an application after june 26, hence no clearance is attached)

Been away for a day, and forum grew bigger and bigger. :) This is all thanks to the contributor's.

By the way, I quoted nursemich message because this is a very good tip! :D Way to go!

so far no files was return due to no eligible, all because of short of information or wrong payment. do you guys think all application sent are eligible?

another week yet to pass :D only two weeks passed since first CCs were charged, and most of us are so impatient to hear something from CIO.

my view now is aligned with Capucciono's that applications of those whose CC/BDs were charged, passed initial check (application integrity), and another stage of comparison against Ministerial Instructions is outstanding (final marks given for education, experience, etc.). this may cause certain applications to return, however I do hope CC/BD charges meant full check and step towards AORs

Good day to everyone...

I would like to ask you guys regarding our POF, can my partner use his separation pay as additional POF? If yes, what documents can we submit to CIO? The company doesn't want to issue any certificate regarding this one....

Hope anyone can answer my question... thanks!
