Thanks temasek for the update..The way i understand it, this only applies to applications sent/filed before june 26, 2010. I suppose they have a different process and timeline for those who applied under the new rule. :)

Hi Khai. It way well be the case, and I certainly hope it is. Unfortunately I have not come acrossed any material which officially clarifies it. Do share if it is otherwise.

Having said that, and unless it is indeed processed separately and hopefully concurrently with the pre 26/6 applications, our other marker would be when we get an update from one of the post 26/6 applicant. From the list generated by fma it would be Nitroxn and Noolan whose applications were received by CIC on 8th and 9th July.

I totally agree with you.. :) I'm waiting also that one of those who have passed their application last july will give an update soon stating that they've received their AOR.

That direction only came about around the 4th August; and so it is likely that those who had submitted their application between 26th June to 4th August, will likely have also sent the original Police Certificate to CIC.

Hi Indira,

By reading this post i think you have already applied for 2151 could you please let me know about Notarized copy of documents,

Hello Nitroxn,

Great to see another architect applying from India. At last i find another 2151 in the list :) Pls could you confirm what documents you have sent to the CIO? Also share your checklist of documents that you gathered? Have you sent the PCC as well? Where do you live in India and which college did u graduate from?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Hi Bhavik,

Nope, we are on the way yet. Have you posted the envelope already? Yes, my huby is an Architect in Chennai and it's great to meet you here. Assuming you are an architect too, pls could you post your relevant details out here in this thread, to help FMA to update and include your name into the list of applicants applying after June 26th 2010?

BTW we are planning to notarize every possible document unless it's original :).

Haven't you applied already? Do you know a lot of Architects applying under this new rule? Just trying to figure out the time when the 1000 cap will be met for the 2151 - Architects :)

This is indeed a great place to stay alive and keep the fire on people :)

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

The CIO and VO checklists would be the point of reference. In my case, I submitted originals of the IELTS report, Company Reference Letter, Police Certificate, & Transcripts (in University sealed envolope). Although it was not entirely necessary, I nevertheless submitted everything else by way of photocopies certified by a Notary Public.

Original IELT's is mandatory to submit photo copy will not work, please read guidlines in this regard.

Hi,everyone.
I've read a thread about IELTS.
Is it true that IELTS score has effect on application process?
I'm a pharmacist (3131) and I get 6 band on the test (L=6,R=6,W=6.5,S=5,overall=6).
Is it enough for me? bcz my marks are over 67 with this band.
Anyway I have submitted a application to CIO already.Just want to know, in case I need to retake the exam because of taking a academic IELTS module.
Thanks
