I am waiting for anything including medicals since 2 yrs 6 months. Badly stuck

Dear frnds,

I sent a cse to LVO 2 days back and got a reply from them yesterday. The subject of reply was started with a new # starting from "'B'' which is called paper file# along with my old Immigration file # starting with ''E.'' For ex: Re: B0xxxxxxxx/E0xxxxxxxx ............ then the reply was like this.


Thank you for your email.

Your application is currently in process. We will contact you again as soon as we are able to, however, this may not be for quite some time yet.

Regarding your expected child, you should forward the following documents to this office within 60 days of the birth:

-updated IMM8 and IMM5406 forms for you and your spouse including details of the new child

-documents for the child: copy of the birth certificate showing the names of both parents, photographs, processing fee of CAD 150 (a bank draft payable to The Receiver General for Canada is required), copy of the passport bio page (this can be sent once it is available)

I wanted to update some information to the spreadsheet. I am originally a Buffalo office applicant from January 2011. My file got transferred to Ottawa and then in April 2013 it got transferred to Mexico City.

On July 2013 I received notice to do medical, update some forms, and pay PRF.

Medicals done July 2013

Application sent with updated forms and money on first days of September.

Now for the first time since 2011 my ecas has changed to in process as of September 20, 2013.

Now waiting for passport request. This process which should have lasted 6-12 months is now going on 3 years for me. But after such a long wait I am blessed to be almost to the finish line, God willing.

i have the same visa officer i.e. LBM...and the reply VO sent for me had both numbers as well along with my name in the subject line.....this seems to be just a time dleaying tactic.....good luck...

Hi guys, Just checking this forum for after a long while. I've completed my first year in Canada, Calgary to be specific. It's been a good ride.
