I think.. I can shed some light here for you.

Here is the deal.

Toronto Vs Vancouver: Both are expensive places to live. Vancouver is little more when compared to Toronto. I can confirm this with a article that was recently published in news papers here. Vancouver Real estate market has come to its peak and running on a bubble where as toronto isn't. This can easily confirm many things if you look at financial-Economic-City relations.. Big term.. understood. So, cost of living in Vancouver is little more than toronto.

Now, coming to the main point: It all depends on profession too. Please include primary applicant's profession also in mind while deciding on place to settle. Do your home work on this.

Another main point for YOU is: You have two teens kids who has to attend school. So, Check out for a good school as well.

Both places are heavily crowded with Indians which means you will find indian stuff like grocerries as well very easily. Any info required, dont hesitate to send a message to me. People who are already in canada will know about lot of info related to settling here. Do ask them (including me). Dont hesitate.

All the best.

Regards,
satya.

THANKS A LOT SATYA :) :) :)

Will surely PM you for any other information ;D

Can you please suggest some links for my research on both the places.
I have found www.toronto.ca and www.vancouver.ca but would require some more insights on the best schools in both these places.

Thank you once again :) :) :)

Hi Canadestin,

So I suppose there is no receipt at all in some cases, nd may be the only way one cn confirm the encashment of RPRF is thru the bank. Thanks for ur response.

Thanks Sonir, Rayon, Pinakini for replies.

I've checked with DMP and they confirmed that Meds were dispatched via D2D courier on 22nd Nov and received by VO on 25th. I've already sent them 2 case specific enquirys, 2 general enquiry, 1 fax and 1 courier. But NO reply from there end.

What should be my next step?

Param

Hey Paramvir,

Sorry for the delay in your visa.
Just wondering if you have an extensive foreign travel history. Then, I think that security clearance may be taking a long time. (Just a guess) :)

Hi,

Please help me with the latest procedure to apply for FBI clearance from Chennai. What documents do I have to send and how do I make the payment for $18. I could not find any post within the last 6months or 1yr in this forum. The old posts have a link to the Cover letter which I am not able to open.

Anyone who had applied for FBI clearance in the last 6months to 1yr from India, please provide your valuable inputs. That would be very helpful. Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Prathima

Hi Prathima,

Though I cannot elucidate on how to apply from India, I can share my experience of applying for FBI Record Request from the US. We went to the Sheriff's office and took the fingerprints. State ID/Driver's license was required for this. Then the fingerprints were express mailed and it took them appr 10 weeks to mail us the no record found letters. You can track the status or request them to expedite the process by emailing them at Liaison@leo.gov. The payment was made thru BOA credit card. The fingerprints should be taken properly from an authentic source. This is the info I am aware of...vl b glad to post any more info I come across.

Thanks & Regards,

Pinakini.
