Hi Rupesh,

You will have to inform VO about the pregnancy and for obvious reasons your application progress will be delayed till the delivery of the baby; further you will have to

1. get the Meds of of the new born
2.Increase the POF for the additional new member
3. Send Processing fees of $150
4. Send new forms/photographs for baby
5. Get passport for your baby

If you get your visas before your wife begins to show apparent signs of pregnancy then probably she could pass the Landing formalities and have the delivery in Canada and have a Canadian baby :)....but not recommended.....but people do and the choice is yours.

Hi rupesh,

When I gave my PCC along with application I went through CID office at mumbai.... Noramlly it takes 24 WD (working days).... then after following this forum I got to know that by applying thorugh PPO (regional passport office) you can avail the PCC.... I think like how we applied previously on similar fashion (filling the form and attaching the documents along with the NDVO request letter & old PCC Xerox copy) you have to do it now also. It may happen that this time you will get the renewed certificate in 15 WD...... TC and wish you all the best for your further process.....

OMG, then it will create a big problem, if i'm going to plan for it,

But in the early stage of pregnancy how can they know that the woman get pregnant and i don't know that in medical they are conform about pregnancy test. if we got the medical clear without that information, then is that any issue for that ?

Hi Rupesh,

AS I have mentioned in my post, if you can land during early stages of pregnancy, then she may avoid being detected.......Rupesh, frankly......this is mis representation and HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Also, you have to consider the fact that Airlines have strict rules in place about flying pregnant ladies....it may create severe complications for child and mother.

Amar, has rightly pointed out another important factor that Canadian doctors (for that matter any doctor) would be little reluctant to accept patients who are already in term......someone would take up the case eventually but you might struggle to find a willing doctor. You don't want to be in stress during that time....trust me.

Land in Canada and have baby when you are fully settled.....with no stress......unless your wife is already expecting one.

If she is pregnant...then it will show in the test result....Medical test comsist of Complete Urine Examination...in that they will find out abt the pregnancy.

Hi Rupesh,

Can you please send me (if pos thru PM) your personal Id where I can send you a mail...

Thanx..

hi friends
can any one tell me how much is the PRPF fee currently in INR
Is is safe to take DD in CAD
and one more thing
is it possible to get PCC from local police station for my wife who is india for the last 6 months
regards
hariranjith

PCC can be only provided by CID (in case of INDIA) and not any local police station have that authorty.... If you go them they will clearly ask you to go to CID office and fill the form... CID will send the form to the local police station for their verification...... even we can not submit the form at local police station....they wont accept it...
