Hi Katy:

I think the wakawaka officer dropped Nursemich's file to the floor and placed it on top again ;)
The good news is, we have at least a couple of days this week that they are working, so I am positive our patiently waiting friends will hear something soon.

Sorry,I was away for a while. Again they have slowed the internet more than any time - for some unknown reason. ???

Cam,I believe that's exactly the case! ;)

Thankyou Wayne for the detailed reply, You are a true gentleman.

I have one more question, just want your enlightenment.

Actually I have done B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) which is a two years degree program, but i completed in three years, two years regular classes, then I could not appear in two exams due to some reasons, therefore i appeared in next year annual exams for these remaining two subjects, so please advise me that in Back ground declaration form shall I write three years i.e from 1994 to 1997 or two year 1994 to 1996 (which actually is the degree program period)

An urgent reply will be much appreciated as I want to send my application max by 31st Dec. because already a lot of time has been wasted in gathering docs and my PCC is also almost 1 months old now.

Nursemich congratulation for ur precious PER I think it getting closer to me my email is had his arms wide open for this email

Wish you all guys luck

Amro

For your education it is very important you write the actual time you spent in education, so definitely put down the time you actually attended i.e. 1994 to 1997. However, it may be advisable to include an explanatory note, stating that the course is usually a 2 year course but for personal reasons you could not attend two exams and had to complete the course the following year.

I do not think they really care whether you completed the course over 2 years or 3 years, as long as you have the required qualifications and length of time in education to get to 67 points. However, they very much DO care that you are honest with them. If you only put 2 years and then find out during background checks that you attended for 3 years this could cause a discrepancy, and a discrepancy will at best cause delay whilst they write to you about it, at worst they could fail your application for misleading them.

In our application we wrote about 3 explanatory letters - one for education, one for proof of funds and another for work experience, explaining any minor missing documents or things which may be unclear. Also please remember if you include an explanatory letter to sign and date it :)

Best of luck.
Wayne.

Thanks Katy!!!

Ugh! All this anxious waiting around is going to give me stomach ulcers!!! Don't need that for my medicals. :D

Oh Wendy dear,

Keep cool, you need your physical and emotional well-being not only for the medicals, but to keep going up the success ladder in Canada. :)
Maybe you just need to close your eyes and pretend to be asleep to give the unwatched kettle theory another chance to take effect here. ;)

Hehehe, no worries Katy. I am extremely eager to see my PER and I am sure I will get it soon, could be even today. For now though, I think I need to take your advise and relax a little, perhaps even stop checking my inbox every 10 seconds. All the best everyone, I need to take a break for a while.
