I wouldn't think much about the address dissapearing. And seeing that queen cougar ordered CAIPS and was of little info I don't know how much you can gain at this point in the game. I would probably wait at least 2-3 weeks more after the first applicant from october gets MR

Also, my address never disappeared.
I am considering applying for caips notes. If nothing else then just to find out if everything is okay so far. Any suggestions?

On average, they usually reply me within 2-3 days. In fact, 3 weeks ago, they replied to my queries 3 times within 6 days.
Fax seems very effective in contacting them.

They have only ever replied to us once. We have not contacted them often - only 3 times.

We did have good reason on each occasion
1) 2 months RBVO and no response
2) Canadian postal strike and delay in receiving documents query, as no post was leaving the UK for Canada but there was no information on the London website
3) change of address sent but new address still not showing on ECAS after several weeks so e-mail to confirm correct address was on file.

They only replied the first time .


I see London are moving again in some cases but not others.
Nothing can be done with ours as Police checks are being processed AGAIN and so we need to wait and then send them to London when they are done along with the other updated docs they requested.

I am still rooting for you, Amaar.

You will surprised, i am waiting since 16th of March when i submitted my pp. I too experienced the address dissappearance thing but nothing changed. :-X

Amongst all the chaos and drama, one thing stands out for me - my address on eCAS has not disappeared and there has been no update as well. I never thought I could be so negative but this last phase of my case has really tested my patience. :-\

I just hope it gets over soon and NDVO stamps my PP.

The wait is on!!!!

Hi Anil, your story now clearly indicates how irresponsible the visa office/officer is as far as our documents are concerned.

It also throws some light on why i am waiting for 5.5 months after sending my pps. I am practically the longest waiting candidate as far the time after submitting the pp are concerned. I really hope they have not lost any of mydocuments. Surely they must have misplaced it and then later found them. One solace for me is that at least on 28th July they sent an email that my file is under bg check and no other documents is required from me.

Lets hope for some +ve news. I visited NDVO on 18th Aug and though they didnt allow me inside their office they did accept my query and told me they will revert back in 10 working days which falls on the 31st Aug. Fingers crossed now.

I have rather stopped posting about my status. Otherwise I have finished my medicals on 29 March; mailed PPs on 12 April (almost 135 days); ran around for fresh PP; resubmitted the same on May 20 (more than 95 days); got information that PP lost ... ......then found ..... ???; again got information that medicals lost ...... .. sent communication with proof of medicals done; later got call about medicals received ...... ??? :.... so what is left NOW ......I changed my cheers from Anil to aNil ..... :'( ..... waiting game ...... :-* :-X ...... All this with address appearing ....disappearing ...again appearing ....disappearing ...again appearing ....disappearing ...again ....... Be positive bro ..... 8) 8)
Just a second thought .............Do we have anything in our hand!! ......

I want to know that from who got the update on their file, that whether they got the address appear disappear in your e-cas status before update ?

NDVO will be concentrating against student visas only after 15 AUG they will wake up against FSW now i think each & every guys will trust my words any how

now i am also expecting update by gods grace hope soon,,,,,,,,,,thanking u all

Me also in same situation , earlier PP's were sent on 12 April and again renewed pp sent on 23 June( Lamination problem) . Now waiting . waiting. and waiting.............

when this thread's pages reached the page 2361, my ecas turned to inprocess. at that time i told my
self my ecas will turn to MR recieved befor the thread reaches page 3000. now we are at page 2904 and ther is nothing, not even MR.

OMG how much am tired bcoz of this waiting game, and for sure am so NEGATIVE.
