good search, but I could not find it independently if I enter CIC website

Applications received per eligible occupation:
Eligible Occupation
(by National Occupational Classification [NOC] code) Number of Complete Applications Received*
0631 Restaurant and Food Service Managers 83 of 1,000

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

Applications received toward the overall cap: 2,226 of 20,000 as of October 19, 2010

0811 Primary Production Managers (except Agriculture) 18 of 1,000
1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management 739 of 1,000
1233 Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners 28 of 1,000
2121 Biologists and Related Scientists 95 of 1,000
2151 Architects 125 of 1,000
3111 Specialist Physicians 93 of 1,000
3112 General Practitioners and Family Physicians 117 of 1,000
3113 Dentists 125 of 1,000
3131 Pharmacists 192 of 1,000
3142 Physiotherapists 34 of 1,000
3152 Registered Nurses 296 of 1,000
3215 Medical Radiation Technologists 5 of 1,000
3222 Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists 4 of 1,000
3233 Licensed Practical Nurses 13 of 1,000
4151 Psychologists 23 of 1,000
4152 Social Workers 57 of 1,000
6241 Chefs 11 of 1,000
6242 Cooks 32 of 1,000
7215 Contractors and Supervisors, Carpentry Trades 13 of 1,000
7216 Contractors and Supervisors, Mechanic Trades 39 of 1,000
7241 Electricians (except Industrial and Power System) 22 of 1,000
7242 Industrial Electricians 28 of 1,000
7251 Plumbers 2 of 1,000
7265 Welders and Related Machine Operators 6 of 1,000
7312 Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanics 11 of 1,000
7371 Crane Operators 0 of 1,000
7372 Drillers and Blasters - Surface Mining, Quarrying and Construction 2 of 1,000
8222 Supervisors, Oil and Gas Drilling and Service 13 of 1,000

Few Questions here

1. Does it mean these people got all the the stage qualified or processed (only AOR pending) or these are the total application received
2. 20000 cap would not reach before 3-4 months time
3. Some of the NOC have less then 50 number of applicant so they may never be full

Did some one compared this with our list, upto what extent we have accuracy. I mean it shows 700+ applicant in NOC 1122, where as we may have only less then 100 applicatnt with us.

I think these may the application processed till 19 Oct 2010 (received till Aug 2010) where as others are waiting in the queue. So if we take Sept and Oct 2010 the chances are the only one NOC (1122) would be over now.

It is really embedded deep inside. They should make it more accessible, probably a link on the homepage itself...!

Very useful info for people planning to apply now....

In immigrate section, go to skilled worker section.

click on who can apply, then occupations listed.

there you can see highlighted box, in that click 20000 cap. and that is the page we were looking for all these days.

Very good info , thanks man. :)

Very low numbers , so weird !!! this explains why till now they didn't announce the closure of the submission.

Guys,

I want you to realize the note which was written below the table : "The number of complete Federal Skilled Worker applications received as of October 19, 2010, is approximate."
This means that those numbers are the applications which passed the completeness check (& encashing), they didn't mention the eligibility review ??!! what does this mean ? they didn't start it yet ??

I want to mention also a usefult note of mine that our sheet in this thread contains 124 applicants which gives us an indicator for our future foretastes that we are nearly 5.5% of the actual total applicants.

True Canady,

I guess this explains ALL complete applications(whether they pass the eligibility review or not) will be counted towards the CAP. In short, if the payment is accepted, the application is counted into the CAP.

And no wonder the numbers are this LOW :o :o, they do not hesitate to return applications for very minor mistakes :-[ :-[

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

when you called they said to you they were doing eligibility review of applications received up to end of August. I think they are working on eligibility of post-26June applications and are due to send out AORs within days, as soon as pre-26June applications are complete (London office is on the move, other offices are due to receive AORs shortly).

Jignesh, great job you did here, have entered the link, very helpful indeed.
In my understanding, they have received more than the figure stated, but the overall figure published are the complete applications received towards the overall cap of 20,000, ie have undergone, completeness check, fees cashed, initial eligibility review done, and AOR to follow.
WHERE IS WAYNE?
