Majorhell

Congrats majorhell ............. Please provide us with the date mentioned on AOR. Thank you

Cheers, Anil

thanks everyone... i didnt find any date on the letter.. but my dad says he received the post on friday i.e 11.3.11. so i feel it wud ve been dispatched say 4 days before..

VO asked me to submit all the docs (incl. passport) before 22.4.11

so took an appointment with the doc for tomorrow. and according to bindu_allam, PCC will take around 10 days. i have a small issue here as i am no more residing on the address that is mentioned on the passport.. and they say that PP ll be mailed to that address after PCC.. so have to check it out at the counter...

Going by the 45 days rule, your MR/PPR was issued on 8th March :)
Good luck with the PCC and Medicals!!

The passports are mailed to the address that you would have filled in the application form (address for communication).....the address where all your letters have been sent so far.....

Dear friends,
We find flow chart explaining the step in each application process. When our file is transfered from CIO sydney to respective VO, it shows Received by VO. Then AOR is sent to applicant which is AOR2 in our case. I think thereafter our background check is done regarding education, job etc. and thereafter we can say that Visa office eligibility review completed.

Now my question is when our status changes from Received by VO to "In Process", does it mean that background check is over and VO have decided to go further in process and sent MR, PPC, PPR request ?
Seniors are requested to represent their views.

Mumbai RPO asks for original passport......We get it back along with the PCC on the 3rd day by speed post

Got lost by whom? CIC? If CIC lost the documents I think you have a reasonable right to send copies without having to get originals all over again.

no, unfortunately it was lost by me before application was sent - i only had a copy that was sent to my consultant and then translation to CIO. I was hoping that they wont ask for original document but they did so i'll get it tomorrow. The qouestion is if they'll be ok with that.

VO checklist clearly states that Employer ref letter must be original.
you are lucky that CIO didnt issue NER to you.

Can any1 help me wid this... :(

You cannot check your ECAS before getting your File number, which usually comes with your PER, unless you have a pending application with CIC, in which case you will already have your file number.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

It depends, you can have a look @ the spreadsheet for the time lines. I guess it will be anywhere from 65 days to 150 days from the date your application reached the CIO.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
