Today i got reply from CHC london

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry.

CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your

Well, with this, I bet all London applicants know what the pecking order is going to be.
It's all going to be about >26/6 it seems.

In the email i asked about my status

Dear Sir/Madam

This is my first email to you to ask about my current status. I have submitted my complete documents on 4th May 2010. and got 2nd acknowledgement of receipt on 15th Aug 2010.

Till now almost 10 months have passed and I didn't hear anything from your office.

Now my status has been changed in process from 1st Feb 2011 but the processing date is not mentioned there.

The details are given below:

We received your application for permanent residence on January , 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March , 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the London England office on March , 2010. The London England office may contact you.

We transferred your application to the London England office on July , 2010. The London England office may contact you.

Kindly inform me that how much time is required on my case.

Thanking you

Hi - please note that this is a thread for post-June-26 applicants. As such we're not really in any position to guide you. Could we please ask you to post on the appropriate thread on the main forum where pre-June-26 applicants will probably be in a better position to assist you?

It is unusual and worrying though that as a January 2010 applicant you have been told by London that you are not priority. London have a target of 17,500 federal skilled worker visas to issue in 2011. If some of the Feb2008-June2010 applicants are not going to be in this quota, and there's probably going to be maybe 1000 visas max to issue at London for post-June-2010 - then who IS going to be in this quota??

Goings on at London are getting more and more concerning :(

Thanks,
Wayne.

I liked your post Indira. Got me thinking. Hope things work out for all of us. :)

All the best.

But if that it the case, why are <J26 applicants getting medical requests and PPRs from London, yet >J26 applicants have not even got 2nd AORs yet? Doesn't sound to me like >J26 are getting priority?

Hi Hope2011....
Really this feels very bad...don't understand what's going on in our VO's mind...it looks like that they are the only VO who follows book like as it is Bible....I think its nothing..just killing the time...
Anyway... I have collected my home county PCC 20 days before of my applicaiton submission to CIO...
...the good thing is....today I went to Indian Embassy of my country and after 30 minutes discussion with Mr. Conselor, he told me to apply again for PCC. Normally, they take 45 days to issue but for my case as I have earlier PCC they agree to issue within 3/4 days......hopefully next week I can send the PCC to them by DHL....

yes, it is the only VO acts so bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but your Conselor is very nice for issue the PCC within such a short time. Did you check with Singapore VO since you are now in Singapore and after you got your first PCC, you didn't return to India for long time can you use the old PCC? It is very annoying to me that a PCC is required when you do not ever really lived there ever since!

I could not figure out a form.

My plan is to attach a reply to their letter with VO letter in original ( as they have asked their letter to be attached)

also the below information in my letter e.g.

a. Medical done on so and so date with the copy of medical invoice ( the doctor would be sending their report but we should attach the invoice copy so that VO knows that we have done our job)

b. Passport (mentioning all the passport numbers and names)

c. Fee with draft number

Hope it should be OK

Come on guys, at least you have heard from your visa office. All they are doing is asking for your PCC (which you knew would happen if you did not include it with your application). Frankly I don't see what the big deal is? Right now I would prefer to be a Singapore VO applicant than a London/Damascus/Buffalo applicant any time.

Next time you think your visa office "acts so bad" maybe spare a thought for those who applied several months before and whose visa offices haven't issued a single 2nd AOR yet?

Wayne.
