I believe this just means that the level of communication needed to work in Canada should be equivalent to the kind of job that you will be doing. Just like in the given example, how can a doctor explain the physiology and the required treatments for a disease to a patient if he or she can't speak the language well? In the other example, a carpenter, even without the required amount of education, can actually perform his job to the utmost satisfaction as long as he understands the safety issues required to do it.

It makes sense.
If you are looking for a crane operator you better not make an attainment of PhD and 8.0 IELTS score as a prerequisite of getting the job.

On the other hand, if you bring in someone with poor level of English to do a professional job where communication skills are very important, then how would you expect that same person meet the standard?

Dear Cay_sha & Kpkinnera,

It is not mandatory to notarize the copy of documents, but it is always helpful as it helps in the VO to confirm the authenticity of the copy of the document and removes any chances of them reverting back because of any doubt and in turn reducing your application processing time.

Also, it is not difficult to get your document notarized... So why take chances. :)

cONGRATULATIONS CB

Cong. to CB!!

By the way,

fellows, please update my Ecase status to CIO NS review completed.
Last week it was in process. I emailed CIO web tech two weeks ago about this issue since I indeed receive my PER in Dec. But my Ecase had never been changed from in process to anything yet.

My visa office is Buffalo, and my CID begins with B0. I hope there will be some movement in Buffalo's VO.....

Congrats CB :) You are the leader for NDVO :)

BTW, guys confused about the PPR with medicals, please note that it's usual that NDVO requests for passports along with the medicals and RPRF. The good thing is this will speed up the final process, but again they may end up having our passports for months. some Pre June applicants for NDVO had their passports in the VO, for as long as 4 months :-[.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
