1. I sent my initial application on January 15th to NS. I found that I didnt put N/A in two fields i.e identity card and education for my son(who is 6months old). I m wondering Can i send another application to fill above if my initial application get rejected I will save 30-40days time.

2. If my initial application if they approves by chance, what they do with my second application to NS ?

3. Do I need to put separate covering letter explaining the issue and re-send in the second application to NS ?

1) They will refuse application,send everything back to you including payment and then you make corrections and reapply. Check before sending application so you dont waste time.

2) No, it will be a new application since first one was rejected. No need for cover letter.

Just incase if my first application accepts, what will happen to second application ?
