Application transferred to New York VO

Hi! My application was transferred to NYC VO. I’m wondering if anyone has any information about how long it will take to receive an update from them? Also, why they transferred? it when most applications that I see online are processed within Canada. I applied outland back in July 2025, and the BGC process has been ongoing since then, but the eligibility has not started.
