My fiancee (Canadian) and I (German) are putting together my application for PR - Family Sponsorship - Common-Law (Inland). We are waiting on receiving some police certificates and a couple other documents so we won't be able to send in our completed application package much before the end of September/early October. I am currently in Canada on a temporary work permit that will expire in mid December of this year. Our plan is to also apply for a bridging open work permit. My concern is based on the documented timelines for receiving an AOR, I'm worried I won't get mine in time to send in my BOWP application before my work permit expires. If that were to happen would I still be able to stay 90 days as a visitor or would I have to apply for that separately? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
