good day everyone,

my family sponsorship application has been sent in Jan 2018, and everything went smoothly until the Jan 2019, then they started background check since that time and they are not done until now, it's almost 7 months for the background check until now.. is that normal or there is something wrong ?? can any one help me plz
I also contact the MP and they told me that they still doing the background check ..
can anyone tell me what is going on, what to expect or what to do.

That's a long time.
Your MP gave you the info. It's something to do with Security/background check.
Is there anything you can think of regarding Background? Have you/spouse/family lived in other countries?
Stay in contact with your MP.

no we have no issue regarding the background check but Idk why they are taking so long.. we will be having our first child in September, so I need to be there by that time ) : and the MP asked us to contact them by the mid of August that's sooo late
