Application status tracker changed to closed?

Outland sponsorship, Bogota Colombia. They requested my wife's passport. After two weeks waiting the application status tracker has been updated to closed but she hasn't received any email. IRCCs glossary definition of closed; 1) your application has been approved 2) your application was rejected 3) your application was withdrawn. Can she expect news soon of approval under the circumstances? "Closed" is very ambiguous!

If they requested the passport then your application was already approved - they are just placing the visa stamp in her passport. The stamp is likely already in the passport now and on its way back to you.
