what options did you press....took me ages and I will still going thourhg the menu option?!

I don't recall exactly, but I think the first option was 1 to deal with enquiries about immigration/PR and then every other option was 2. There's a lot of pre-recorded information you have to listen to but at the end it says if you want to speak to an agent press 0. That's what I did and it put me through

what did you use to get this free? hangouts.google.com?

Yes, Hangouts is an app from google. You can use a PC or the phone app. To use from a mobile , there is an specific app (hangouts dialer or something like that). First time I called from my PC because I didn't manage to call from my mobile, only later I found out that this other app was needed.

Thanks all, finally got through. She confused me a little and said my application is in progress (not on hold as I thought) and is being finalised but progressing. Not sure what finalised means as I haven't even passed medicals yet.

From memory, goes like this:

AOR - 20/04/2017
Status change - 20/06/2017 - I think it was BG = NA (Medicals not passed as mentioned previously, pending X-ray)
RPRF request on 05/07/2017
RPRF Paid and uploaded on 05/07/2017

when they ask you to pay RPEF that's mean is good just one question : when your status change did they send you email to notify you that was update in your application?

Yes sorry, when there was an update, I got a email saying login, your status has been updated. so I checked and BG was set to NA. I was just always under impression nothing would happen until Medical completed

I believe this was the first update to my knowledge, well the first update I got an email for. before that I think it was something like ' we are processing application, we will let you know when BG starts'
