Hi

I am currently working on my wife's inland spousal application.

My wife was born in Kuwait, hence her birth certificate is in Arabic. Both of us are Indian Citizens.
In her application for the birth certificate, I had put a copy a arabic birth certificate(certified by the translator) and a copy of the certified translation.

The application was returned and the reason was
1)a certified copy of the original document
2)a certified translation document

is needed..

Do i need to get her birth certificate notarised?

Thanks

Yup. That's what that means.. Both the translation copy, and the copy of the original.

So when I submit I need the following documents

1) notarised birth certificate
2) notarised translation or certified?? the translation was already certified by the the translator. He is good standing with the association of translators in BC. or should I get that also notarised?? and when I submit should I submit the original translation or just a copy?

Notarise the whole kit.
