We're sorry to received the rejection letter on 18 Jan from CIC London (I sent full docs on 5 Aug'09)
Reason: Points given is only 63 points, below is the summary
Age -10
Education -20
Experience-21
Adaptability -4
1st Language skill- 8 (IELTS score overall band is 6)

Question: I'm planning to take IELTS again, to get a better score at least 12 to reach 67 points. Is it okey to reapply soon, let say after 6 months.

Sory for the rejection. Well you should first appear in IELTS to improve your numbers. You only need 4 numbers to reach 67. After getting required marks then donot waste time and reapply. This is my opinion. Wait for others reply

Eemmoo is right. Redo your IELTS before submitting another application to be sure.

To say practically, scoring anything over 7.0 or 7.5 would be tough.
you scored 6.0, did you try your level best to score that?

Scoring over 7.5 cant be that tough . My score (on the general level test) was higher than 7.5 and I approached the test with a somewhat careless attitude. I have friends who made higher scores than me, so there is no need to set your standards low.

regarding Adaptability's 4 points that u got, is it ok for u to explain how u got that? i mean, my spouse has got an Honours degree from Uni. will it get me 4 points in Adaptability?

Oh, for IELTS matter, it's not that hard to get score in the range between 7.5 & 8. just remain calm & concentrated in the exam hall. the rest is to God. u can reapply straightway as per information i collected from this forum.

Better to do IELTS again before applying, some time officer can grant 1 point.

Please do not give Ielts now. First join a 6 months training class to improve ur grammar , etc in English. After that redo ur IELTS exams. Bet me u will get better score and land in Canada.

Before sending ur application did,nt u calculate ur score. You very well know below 67 points means rejection.
