Application Package Returned by CIC but not received by me

I have made an application for Permanent Residence(Federal Skilled Worker) to " CIC- Canada, Centralized Intake ofice,Attn:SWI-NOC#3131,196George Street ,Sydney,NS,B1P1J3,Canada,on 02-Nov-2010.

Today, I received a letter from, Centralized Intake office, Case Processing Centre stating “due to incomplete documentation the application was returned on 15 November 2010 to your mailing address”. Also, an explanation letter was send along with the application kit.

TILL DATE, I HAVEN’T RECEIVED ANY DOCUMENT PACKET. I had sent some originals like IELTS score card, Wok experience letters and Transcripts ,in my the application kit.

what to do know?????????????

Which country are you from? Mail services in some countries are horrible--so far I know immigration services would only send the mails in normal post, so it may take sometime. You may talk to the local post office/mail man.

Dear Saket,

Its Sad to see that it is returned. Do you have any idea why ? What is the mode of your payment ( Application fee) ? Bank Draft or CC ? Did CIO encash/charge your CC ? Have you checked it ? Well its hard to say when you will receive you packet back.. some applicant got back after 3/4 months also.... go to your nearest Post Office...

If i am not wrong then you must have got email from CIO not letter ? Right ? Plz.. confirm.

The letter said they are sending the application packet as it was found incomplete.They said it also contained an explanation letter.No fee was deducted.It was sent by normal post.
The letter contained no tracking details for the application package........what i am should do know?

WHAT IS THE GENERAL WAY OF MAILING BY CIC FOR DOCUMENTS KITS-REGISTERED MAIL OR COURIER?

Yesterday , I received my application packet from Post office!
The explanation letter said that they will highlighted the missing documentation.The package contains the document checklist (one available at CIC website)

But unforunately no option was higlighted,which means I dont know ,why application was was returned an which document was incomplete.
It just said that "If requirements of IRPR Acts section 10 are not met ,the application will be returred.....??????I dont know what It meant.........!!
I am making the appicaton on my own (by meticulously going through CIC website requirements) and not utilizing service of any agent.
Does agents given preferencial treatment by CIC???

Saket,

The IRPA of ection 10 deals forms & its Contents. It means that you have done some mistake in form filling or error in documentations. I advise you to check your forms & see whether you signed & date it properly ? Make sure you did not left any column Blank .Also Check you Inbox.

What kind of documents you provide for date of birth ? So many questions are there to know the mistakes.

Mayank, where did you find the reference to IRPR Section 10? Put me out of my misery, please! I have been doing googles for IRPR Act section 10 and can't find anything that leads me in the right direction. If you can't see what has been missed in your forms, I definitely think you should email and ask them to specify what the problem was. Do you have anyone else you know who has completed their application who could read it over. Sometimes a second set of eyes will find things you cannot. Good luck.
