Application package courier received but no acknowledgement for 5 days

Hi guys,

I have sent my spousal sponsorship application but it’s been few days since my courier was received haven’t got an acknowledgment yet. FedEx tracking says it’s received at CIC. How long does it takes to acknowledge?

Acknowledgement of receipt is currently taking about 7 weeks for inland applications and 8 weeks for outland applications. Pull up a chair, brew a cup of tea, you're going to be waiting a while...
