Application - Minors, Question 4(a) - for a family applying together for citizenship.

1) Does the "Print your name" line refer to "Parent" or "Guardian" or both?

The layout is confusing, as the "Print your name" line is following both checkboxes for Parent or Guardian. There is no clarification that I can find in the instructions or online. It looks like this...

___ Parent OR ___ Guardian ______________________________________ (Print Your Name)

There is a whole section for parent information, so I'm thinking it's for Guardian, but I also don't want to assume anything and have application delayed.

FYI, I've called CIC and after waiting an hour and a half on hold, was disconnected, so I'm turning to the collective knowledge of the forum before I try CIC again Monday!

2) If it applies to "Parent", (we are both parents of the minor child), should we BOTH print our name, or is one sufficient?

3) If we are both listed as parents on the child's application (which we are), do we BOTH sign in the signature box?

Thanks for your input! I may just be over thinking this, but would appreciate input from anyone who has filled this form out.

Bump. I know many people filled this out correctly. Could someone let me know if I'm overthinking it?
Thanks in advance!

I had also same doubt. I think you should click on parent and print both parents names, because at signature panel both parents signatures are required
