application in process!

can you guys tell me plz how I will be informed that my application is in process? do they inform us by email, maid or we just have to check the status of our applications in their website? i can't check mine!so i don't know if it is in process or not. the last thing i received was the acknowledgement letter and the booklet.

You´ll get a letter...you can always check the status of your file by going to the CIC website and can use the same client number that appears on your landing record. Or you can call CIC and ask....keep an eye on the mail.
