Application got cancelled - totally my fault

After receiving the refusal message, I realized that instead of the police report for my wife I submitted her medical documents again What a stupid mistake.
Any way we can ask for re-consideration with the addition of the missing document? Or should I create a new profile and make a new submission?

You can try a CSE, maybe.

Very unfortunate. Definitely try a CSE. Also submit a new profile just in case and wait for another ITA.

Applied September 7th.
I was thinking of trying CSE and also creating a new profile but do you think they will re-open my case? Has there been anyone who managed to do this?
I will also ask for advice from a lawyer, I'll post here what he says.

I'm sorry for your refusal.

Unfortunately, they are unlikely to reopen your application on compassionate grounds or otherwise. EE has seen a trade in of empathy for efficiency. You can certainly try sending in a CSE but I recommend that you create another profile right away.

It doesn't hurt to try but don't hope too much. Make a new profile as soon as you can, and see if you get another ITA. You can do both at once.
