Application for Permanent Residence 3 years of waiting

Can someone pls tell me if our application for permanent residence sent by our father last june 2012 still have a chance to get approve? should we wait or not? there's no new update in our Ecas when i checked our status still APPLICATION RECEIVED. My father will take his oath of citizenship this 24 of july 2015, do you think me and my brother still have a chance cause 3 years of waiting is kinda long.. no new update.. Sad

not sure if you applied in/outland.

is the processing time over the official processing time on CIC website (inland application)?
If so, you should call CIC.

If you applied outland, you can contact your MP (members of parliament )
and request for update of your file (That's what I did)

Request the GCMS notes on your application, so you can see what's going on with your file and any concerns and deadlines CIC has put in your file.

Since your all here in Canada get your dad and yourself down to your local Member of Parliament office and tell them how long you have been waiting and ask them to do a case inquiry on your behalf.


In the meantime you could order your notes yourself because you are in Canada. Its easier as your dad will need a consent form off you.

If your in the Philippines then your case is not Inland ... Keep to one thread you have several going all at the same time on the same topic. Answer scyll questions she is very experience and will be able to advise you , she answered you on the thread about good hearten people please help.
