Application confirmation

Hi Respective peoples,

I submit my spouse application in Mississauga, Ontario for my wife last month on 13 May. but till now i didn't receive any confirmation from CIC that they receive my application. But fedex confirm that package is deliver. i submit the package on given below address which is for private courier. Can anyone please share how long it take to get confirmation from them that they receive the application. Your help will be highly appreciated.

It will take from 30 days to 55 days to get the AOR (acknowledgemnt of receipt) letter. Be warned that the processing time is going up and up every week, so it might take longer.

Very soon you may get an e-mail, if you don't receive an e-mail you may receive a letter In the mail confirming that you have been approved as sponsor.... just keep checking your e-mail and your mail box., if you don't receive any information by the end of the next week, then give a call to CIC call centre, the phone number is:
1-888-242-2100, they are working from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. they will require the receipt number that you have when you paid the application fee and landing... good luck. the road just begins for you.. and will be long.... God Bless you

AOR (acknowledgement of receipt) and SA (sponsorship approval) will be sent to the sponsor. my suggestion is to find the may applicant thread so you can track the progress of your month's applications.

Hi guys,

My application received by them on 13 May 2014 according to fedex. But till now i didnt receive any letter of acknowledge from them. I check my and my wife email daily. Furthermore i check CIC website they are showing that they are Working on applications received on May 16, 2014.

Please help what should i do and how can i confirm that they receive my application package. i am much worried. please and thanks

If they say working on apps from May 16, and you're on May 13, then there's really nothing you can do about it but wait for the next update

Asad, several May applicants are in the same boat, myself included. If you haven't done so, take a look at the May spreadsheet - so far, only 4 people who applied in May have received SA and many others who applied during the second week of May haven't received AOR yet. Don't worry too much - you are not the only one!
